The First Look Of Zune 2 And Zune Flash

Here is a sneaky shot of the Zune 2 and Zune Flash. The picture above reveal a 80GB version and a 4GB and 8GB flash model. The gadget comes with a controller which many are speculating is a real button with “touch sensitive properties”. Stay tuned for more leaked pictures.

Microsoft Announces Its SideWinder Gaming Mouse

Microsoft Hardware announced its SideWinder mouse line at the Leipzig Games Convention today. Microsoft’s SideWinder Mouse was designed specially for gaming. The mouse features one-touch Windows Vista Games Explorer access, Quick Turn button that lets users check their in-game perimeter, a weight cartridge system for personalizing the mouse’s weight and an LCD built onto the mouse. The SideWinder will go on sale this October for $79.95.

XBox 360 Price Equal to Wii Down Under

XBox 360 Price = Wii Price In Australia
The XBox 360 Core dropped in Australia from $429 AUD to $399 AUD (the same price as the Nintendo Wii), while the 20GB XBox pro goes from $649 AUD to $579 AUD.

The XBox regional director for Oceania, David McLean, said that the HDMI-equipped boxes are going to be coming to Australia soon. The Elite and Halo 3 special editions are going to be released soon as well, although release date are unknown. Aussies should be ecstatic about this one!

Microsoft Releases Another Halo-Themed Zune

Microsoft comes back with an exclusive Halo Zune for military personnel. The firm handed out 300 players to a group of soldiers who recently left for active duty, but the rest of them will be available for sale exclusively at “military retail stores.” The Zunes will be brown with colorful Halo artwork and will come pre-loaded with artwork, trailers, and music from all three Halo games. These gadgets will be sold to military personnel and their families for a “discounted rate,” but the discount rate is unknown. The Zune usually retails for $250.

Microsoft and Milk Magazine have created the XBox 360 Elite “Milk” Edition to celebrate the 6th anniversary of Milk Magazine. Two of these Xbox’s will be auctioned off for charity with proceeds going to the WWF. This special edition black XBox 360 Elite offers a 120 GB hard drive and features the 6th Anniversary sticker and some very subtle Milk Magazine branding. Microsoft Drops Xbox 360 Price

Microsoft just announced a price drop on the 360 lineup. The Xbox 360 is getting a $50 price drop starting this Wednesday. The 20GB model will be $350, the Elite with 120GB of storage will be $450, and the Core will retail for $280.
