Chinese gadget manufacturer Tainell has launched a new Atom-powered MID in the form of the Tainell T500. The Windows XP-powered gadget has a 5-inch 1024 x 600 touchscreen (resistive) display with a 1.1GHz Intel Atom Z510 processor, a 1GB of RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G WWAN connectivity and an HDMI port. Eston is gearing up to release its new Mobile Internet Device ‘ET-M4301′ for the mass market. Measuring 150.5mm x 81mm x 24mm, this portable device offers a 4.3-inch 480 x 272 touchscreen display, a Marvell PXA303 processor, a 128MB RAM, a microSD card slot, a USB port, WiFi and supports both the Android and Win CE 6.0 operating systems. First introduced back in June at the World IT Show 2009 in Korea, Samsung’s latest WiMax enabled handheld device ‘Mondi MID‘ aka SWD-M100 is finally coming to US starting on August 1st via Sprint. Running on Windows Mobile 6.1 pro, this mobile internet device boasts a 4.3-inch full touchscreen display, a full QWERTY slide keyboard, a 3MP camera, GPS function, WiFi, Bluetooth and operates on Sprint’s WiMax network. Compal has showed off their next generation KAX15 MID during Computex 2009 in Taiwan. The gadget is claimed to be the world’s smallest Windows-based MID.
