Shuttle, the manufacturer for small-form factor PC is set to release an even tinier and greener desktop called the X27. X27 mini-desktop is equipped with Intel’s Atom processor, Intel GMA 950 VGA and use as little as 23 watts in idle mode, and 36 watts while in use. It also runs very smooth it barely makes sound, of no more than 23 decibels. It comes in dimension of approximately 10 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 2.75 inches tall. The MSI Titan mini desktop PC has been released. Priced at only £235 or about $450, the Titan features a 250GB SATA hard drive, 2 GHz VIA C7 processor, 1GB of DDR 2 memory and VIA’s CN700 integrated chipset. Other features include 2 USB ports, VGA, TV out, 5.1-channel digital audio out, legacy PS/2 and serial ports, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. What makes this mini PC special is that it has a dual-layer multi-format DVD writer. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with an operating system. The MSI Titan measures 9.45 inch x 7.28 inch x 2.75 inch. It comes with 1GB of RAM, 1.86GHz Core 2 Duo processor, and 256MB (shared) Intel GMA 3000 integrated graphics along with a bite-size package.
