
iRiver has announced the successor to its NV Mini portable navigation device by releasing the NV Mini Bike Edition. Unlike its predecessor, the bike edition comes with a sturdy bike mount kit, a scaled-up touchscreen UI designed to accommodate gloved fingers, no integrated DMB TV tuner and a new firmware that measures stats like ride time, speed, distance and calories burnt. Apart from that, it also sports a 3.5-inch 320 x 240 touchscreen, GPS with POI (points of interests) functionality, a media player, integrated speakers, an SDHC card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack and runs on Windows CE 5.0 OS. The NV Mini Bike Edition is now available in Korea for 188,000 KRW (about $156). More

Smaller than its predecessor, the mouse is targeted specially at women and children, and features a 1000 dpi sensor, three buttons and a scroll wheel. 3M will showcase a mini mobile projector in CES 2008. Said to be LED-illuminated and very compact It can be used with any mobile device such as cell phones and portable media players. It features VGA resolution images and can project pictures up to 40 inches. Look for this tiny, yet practical projector in the next couple of months.

Not only is this CD player small, but it costs a whopping $2,495 to $2,995. Other than that it has the same features such as 24-bit, oversampling player with digital circuitry, and a gold-plated RCA. Nothing special, it’d be better off as a decoration for your basement=P.
