VRX Industries LTD has unveiled the World’s First Quad Screen Race Simulator with their VRX MACH 4 announcement. The VRX MACH 4 simulator is powered by four Xbox 360′s, producing 4 Teraflops of power, which drive the 3 Sharp Aquos LCD’s; the fourth Xbox 360 powers a 7″ LCD rear view mirror which elevates the virtual racing experience to a new level of realism. M2E Power has created a concept of a rechargeable phone battery that can be charge with kinetic energy. These batteries cost around the same to produce as current batteries, even using less metals. M2E Power announced that devices with kinetic batteries will be seen by 2010. In case you didn’t know, kinetic energy is electricity produced by natural motions such as when moving your hands, etc.

China is starting construction on the world’s tallest ferris wheel (680-feet), that is slated for a 2009 completion. The $99 million Beijing Great Wheel was supposed to be open to tourists at next summer’s Olympic Games, however it had been delayed by a number of design changes. The Beijing Great Wheel will have 48 air-conditioned compartments each of which can carry up to 40 passengers.

Check out this new 2008 calendar made from pure gold from Tanaka Kikinzoku Jewelry K.K.’s flagship store in Tokyo’s Ginza district. You can grab the calendar, not the girl, from Tanaka Kikinzoku for a hefty $257,000. This gold calendar measures 67cm x 42cm and weighs at around 6kg.

You can visit the Mercedes Benz Museum in Germany right now to see the world’s largest artificial tornado. The tornado measures 34.43 meters tall, and contains approximately 28 tons of air (It takes 144 jets about seven minutes to produce). Carbon dioxide is being sprayed into the bottom of the tornado to make it visible. This artificial tornado has received the Guinness Book of Records certification.

The Ocean Dome is claimed as the world’s largest indoor water park, which features volcano that erupts every 15 minutes, a gigantic wave pool fit for up to 10,000 people, and waterslides. It is located in the Seagaia Resort, Japan. Check out the video after the jump.
