
Mitsubishi is set drop their newest 3D home theater projector ‘HC9000D’ for the mass market next week. Adopting the SXRD display technology, the HC9000D supports both 2D and 3D images, and provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 150,000:1 contrast ratio, 1100 ANSI lumens brightness and up to 4,000 hours of lamp life (Eco Mode). It also comes with a number of connectivity ports including 2x HDMI, Component, Composite, D-Sub and S-Video. The HC9000D will have an RRP of $10,000. [Mitsubishi]

Mitsubishi is ready to release the new REAL BHR500 entry-level HDTVs that come equipped with built in Blu-ray disc player and recorder, and a 500GB hard disk drive. These HDTVs also support digital TV tuners, a USB slot, an SD card slot and an Ethernet port. The REAL BHR500 series will be available in 4 different sizes. The 40-inch and 46-inch models feature a full HD (1080p) resolution Diamond 120Hz Panel, while the smaller 26-inch and 32-inch models only supports 1366 x 728 LCD 120Hz panels. Cayce Blanchard, Mitsubishi Electric North America Senior VP, has announced that the company will concentrate from now on micro-display projection televisions (MDPTVs) and large Laservue televisions starting from 73-inch and above. This move will help Mitsubishi Electric to focus its business on large public displays that can be found in convention centers or stadiums. In addition, the company will also concentrate on projector sales, display wall and printers. Mitsubishi has announced the availability of their new 23-Inch 120Hz IPS LCD Monitor ‘VISEO MDT231WG‘ in Japan. To remind you, this new 23-inch LED-backlit monitor makes use of a 120Hz IPS panel and delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 5000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms GTG response time. Mitsubishi’s new HC4000 projector uses Texas Instruments’ latest 1080p DLP chip, the DarkChip 3 with BrilliantColor. The projector produces 1300 Lumens of brightness and provides up to 750:1 ANSI contrast ratio. The HC4000 also boasts super-sharp, all-glass lenses for rich, vivid realistic images. This projector is powered by the 0.65-inch DarkChip3 DMD (Digital Micromirror Device) chip that provides a native contrast ratio of 3300:1 and a brightness of 1200 Lumens. Measuring 345mm x 270mm x 129mm and weighing 3.6kg, the Mitsubishi LVP-HC4000 also features a 230 Watts lamp, an HDMI port, Component port, S-Video Port, Composite and analog RGB port. Mitsubishi has proudly introduced a couple of new Blu-ray recorders that come with either a 1TB or a 500GB of storage space. The Mitsubishi DVR-BZ340 (1TB) and DVR-BZ240 (500GB) feature a 8x Blu-ray recorder, two digital TV tuner and supports acTVila Japanese VOD Service. Mitsubishi has confirmed the availability of the new 3D Full HD Laser TV for the Japanese market. The Mitsubishi 75-LT1 uses the company’s Laser technology, which is one of the most advanced technology so far. Mitsubishi’s laser technology a.k.a. LaserVue TV aims to provide a color range twice than found on a normal HDTV and reduces the power consumption. The new Mitsubishi 75-LT1 features a 75-inch Full HD panel (1920 x 1080) that can display 3D images using the side-by-side format, BS.110/CS Digital TV tuner, five HDMI inputs, an HDMI output, a D-Sub port, a trio of S-Video ports, a couple of 10W speakers and two pairs of active shutter 3D glasses.
