
Mitsubishi’s 65-inch LaserVue 1080p rear-projection HDTV is priced at a hefty $7,000.The TV will be released later this month. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing for its 73-inch version. As a reminder, the LaserVue is a laser-based HDTV, which uses an array of red, green, and blue lasers to project its image onto the screen. According to Mitsubishi, this HDTV provides a color gamut over 200% NTSC standard, and consumes less than 200 watts. [CruchGear]

Mitsubishi this week has given a preview to Americans of some likely new HDTV sequels to its REAL TV line. The higher end MZW series will comprise a 46-inch LCD 1080p panel (LCD-46MZW200) and 40-inch LCD 1080p panel (LCD-40MZW200). MZW features Mitsubishi’s newer Diamond Engine Pro III technology to process video in 16-bit detail and reduce noise beyond performance from competitors. Both are full 1080p sets and boast 120Hz refresh rates that eliminate motion artifacts; plus four HDMI inputs with CEC compatibility and should ship October 21st at equivalent prices of $2,725 for the 40-inch MZW200 set and $3,634 for the 46-inch version. Lower-cost systems will also be available soon. The 37- and 42-inch MXW200 updates also produce 1080p but lack the 120Hz output, and will sell for $2,089 and $2,543 respectively. [Electronista]

Mitsubishi will release its Outlander 7-seat SUV in Korea in September 2008. The SUV is powered by 2998cc MIVEC engine with 220 horsepower. It has the lowest emissions of any 7 seat SUV, and fuel consumption of over 40mpg. No words on pricing at this time. [AVING]

Mitsubishi has done it again with the new XD211U DLP projector. The XD211U features a 1,024 x 768 and brightness of 2,200-lumens along with a new DDP 2230 TI microarray, and a theft-deterrent security hook. The XD211U is going for $1595 and is perfect for the classroom or office. [About Projectors]

Mitsubishi Electric has dropped two New Blu-Ray recorders called the DVR-BZ200 with 500GB of internal HDD and the DVR-BZ100 with 250GB of internal HDD. They both support AVC codec and AVCREC so you can record AVC to DVD. Along with a digital and analog TV tuners as well as HDMI and Tivo support, and lastly the touch-screen color LCD remote control. Mitsubishi has broke out two new models of home projectors. The XL1550U and XL2550U which are more for home entertainment than anything, come with lots of features. The XL1550U features an XGA (1,024 x 768) resolution, 3,100 ANSI lumens and a lamp life of up to 5,000 hours.While the XL2550U, has the same resolution but has up to 4,000 ANSI lumens, the new BrightEra LCD panels and a lamp good for 4,000 hours of use. Both will have side-loading lamps, built-in Ethernet ports for LAN asset management and an RS-232 port for third-party integration. Both of these will be available this month going for $3,995 and $4,495.

Here are some sketches of Mitsubishi’s upcoming Lancer Sportback hatch. It is scheduled to showcase in the Geneva auto show in March. Mitsubishi will put a 260 horsepower engine and the all-wheel drive system from the Evolution IX on the Lancer Sportback Ralliart. Check out one more pic after the jump.

Mitsubishi has announced that $32,990 base price for the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR. You pay extra for additional items such as a $2,000 for the Sight, Sound, and Spoiler package, $1,999 for the 30GB navigation system, and a $2,000 for an aero kit. Video and more pics after the jump.
