
Greenhouse will launch its 19-inch monitor GH-TIF193SDW in Japan. It features HDCP(High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), support for 1,440 x 900(WXGA+) resolution, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response speed and 400 cd/m2. This monitor should drop mid-February for $297.

EPI will drop two Envisioned-Branded LCD monitors including the 19-inch Envision G917w1 and the 22-inch Envision G2219w1. The 19-inch features a 1440 x 900 resolution and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, while the other features a 1680 x 1050 resolution and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. Both models have HDCP-capable DVI ports as well as a 5 ms response time and full compliance with Energy Star and ROHS standards. Both will hit stores in April with the 19-incher going for $200 and the 22-inch model for $270.

The Eizo CG301W monitor made an appearance at the PMA show in Vegas and now has specs available. It features an Adobe RGB color space, a 2560 x 1600 resolution, dual DVI-D inputs for hooking up two computers, a picture-in-picture function and Eizo’s Application Specific Integrated Circuit (or ASIC). No word on pricing or availability, but considering all the specs, it should be pretty pricey.

NEC will release some new AccuSync LCD monitors. The AccuSync series will come in 17″, 19″ and 22″ versions with support for DVI and VGA video input. The 17″ LCD174WXM features a 250cd/m2 brightness, 8ms pixel response time, and 800:1 contrast ratio.The 19″ model has a brightness level of 300cd/m2 and a contrast ratio to 1,000:1.Lastly, the 22″ monster offers you a 300cd/m2 brightness and a 900:1 contrast ratio. The 17″, 19″ and 22″ AccuSync line will release this March for $210, $230, and $320.

Green House expects to launch its 17-inch wide monitor the GHAEG173S in Japan. It supports 1,280 x 1,024(SXGA) resolution, 5ms response speed, 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 300 cd/m2. Japan will be selling the monitor mid February for about $279

Macworld has recently displayed some new Samsung LCD monitors, one of which is pictured known as the 2693HM. It comes with a resolution of 1920×1200, Contrast of 1000:1, Brightness: 400cd, Viewing Angle: 160/160, Inputs: VGA, DVI, HDMI as well as integrated speakers. What’s even better is that you get all these excellent features for only $699.

The 1080p 16:10 display supports 92 percent NTSC gamut, 10-bit gamma correction and embedded Faroudja DCDi and TrueLife tech. It comes with Plugs such as: VGA, DVI and dual HDMI, with HDCP support for watching some HD movies after a long day. There are also three USB 2.0 ports and a headphone jack, and LaCie has dropped in the blue eye pro for automatic hardware color correction. This monitor should arrive sometime in January for $1050.

LG has upgraded their XCanvas HDTV to 120Hz Full HD LCD screen for better image quality. In addition, it comes with a USB port, that plays your MP3′s and display your photos. The Xcanvas is available in Korea coming in 42, 47 and 52 inch versions.
