Touch keypad music phones are getting very common these days especially this year. Motorola has just dropped the ROKR E8 which is a touch keypad music cell phone. It features all the standard features like 2GB of internal memory, 2.0-megapixel camera, miniSD slot, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, and a touch-sensitive keypad. Being displayed at the CES as well is the Motorola DH01 mobile tv which is a portable media player that shows you live TV, on-demand video clips, and programming saved on Digital Video Recorders (DVRs).It features a 4.3″ display, a 5-minute memory buffer, and memory card slots that can store up to 1.5 hours of video, and a 4-hour battery life. No word on pricing or availability at the moment.
Korea is getting a dose of orange with the new LG Z6M slider my Motorola. It comes with 3.5mm ear jack, 2M camera, e-book, file viewer, memory card slot and alot more. Pricing is still unknown, but that and availability should be available soon.
The FCC has approved the Motorola ROKR E8 and has gathered all the specs such as GSM / EDGE, Force feedback keyboard, Landscape display, Mini-USB, Bluetooth, and MicroSD. No info on pricing or release dates at the moment.

This headset is custom made and will be available in Selfridges in London and Manchester, and Harvey Nicholls, London from mid-December with price tagged at £4,000 for the base model and £6,2350 for the fully-loaded set. I guess they knew Americans couldn’t afford these.
Motorola has made a Chinese model similar to the Razr known as the MotoMing 2. It has alot of the same features plus additional ones such as a faster CPU, Linux OS, 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flashlight, Wi-Fi connectivity, Built-in AGPS receiver, Talking dictionary, and 3 built in games (skiing, bowling and racing 3D games).
The Almighty FCC has recently approved the new Motorola RIZR Z6c that features a 2MP camera, a microSD memory card slot and Bluetooth connectivity. The RIZR Z6c also offers a CDMA connection for calls and EV-DO data in addition to dual band 900MHz and 1800MHz GSM for those who frequently travel around the world. There is no word on a launch date nor pricing though.
The Boy Genius Report provides us with a “leaked” news about AT&T’s Black Friday sale. AT&T will be offering 50% off prices on a selection of their popular phones. Here are the phones that will be included with this special sale. Sadly, the Apple iPhone is not included.
Remember that these wonderful prices are given after mail-in-rebates and 2-year agreements. The promotion starts on Black Friday and ends on the following Sunday.
