The iRiver Clix is now available in stores. As a reminder, this gadget offers a battery life up to 24 hours of music playback and 5 hours of video playback. The iRiver Clix has a 2.2 inch AMOLED display and supports for MPEG, MP3, WMA, OGG, WMV, and MPEG4 formats. It will come in three capacities including 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB models, which retail for $149, $199, and $249 respectively.

The Juke tower from N-et corp Japan is the waterproof MP3 player which is no bigger than a shampoo bottle. The gadget comes jam packed with a 2GB of RAM and sports playback of MP3 files only. Its mono speaker is 50mm wide and offers an output of 0.5W×1ch. The Juke tower also has basic controls and a display which shows the time, folder and track number. The unit is powered by 3 x AAA batteries which provide 12 hours of continuous playback. The Juke Tower is only available in Japan for $88.

Measuring 6.66mm x 50mm x 11mm, the MP4 player provides a built-in speaker, an integrated FM radio with 40 presets, a sound/voice recorder, and an image viewer. The player also sports a wide variety of multimedia formats. The 1GB and 2GB versions retail for $99.95 and $139.95 respectively.

Sunconnection SC-VP200SD PMP

Sunconnection Japan released the SC-VP200SD PMP which sports a camera, a 2.4 inch TFT screen with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. It plays MP3 and MPEG-4 file formats along with JPEG files for photo viewing.

Its camera is only a standard 1.3MP with support for video recording at 320 x 240 pixels (30 fps). The PMP also comes with AV In/Out ports for direct connection to the TV, a microphone, and a Line In slot for voice recording in MP3 / WAV format.

This gadget has 128 MB of internal memory that is expandable via SD card slot. The company claims that its Lithium Ion battery charges fully in 3 hours and provides 4 hours of continuous playback. Available in black and white, the Sunconnection SC-VP200SD retails for $110 in Japan.
