Control your fav tunes in your pants with the Pocket Pal MP3 player concept. The concept comes with an interface on the outside that controls your tunes in your pocket without having to reach inside. It’s basically a concept for a control interface using a magnetic knob which can be removed and placed outside your pocket to control the volume and skip tracks. JWD has unveiled its new MP3 player that comes jam packed with a 2 inch TFT display, an integrated FM radio, alarm clock, built-in speakers, and SD/MMC memory card slot. The Newman Momo-X2 MP3 player has a cool looking N-shaped pad for its controls. Measuring at only 7mm thick, the Momo-X2 features 1.5inch 260k color display, a built-in FM radio, and an e-book reader. The player also sports MP3, WMA MP3, WMA audio formats and supports for Microsoft PlayFX sound effects. The Momo-X2 will retail for approximately $57 (2GB). [PMPtoday]

Creative has released a new Zen MP3 player which is specially made for girls. The pink Creative Zen features 2GB memory capacity. However, the gadget is not available at Creative’s online store. It is priced at $69.99 at Wal Mart. [Gizmodo]

This Cassette MP3 player looks like a normal cassette tape, but it actually holds an SD card full of MP3s inside. You can use it as a portable audio player by plugging in headphones, but an even cooler function is its ability to be popped into any tape player and play your music like it’s any other cassette. Here is good news for those who lived in the US and also for those who like Mickey Mouse. iRiver has planned to release its Mickey MP3 player in the US. The player retails for only $70 (1GB) and offers 9 hours of playback time. Unfortunately, this MP3 player “contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, or birth defects or other reproductive harm.” [Gizmodo]
