
You can now pre-order the latest touchscreen MP3 player from Creative which is known as the ZEN X-Fi2. The player boasts a 3-inch touchscreen display and supports most of famous audio and video formats including AAC, Audible books, FLAC, MP3, WMA, DivX 4/5, MPEG-4, WMV and XviD. Pittsburgh-based company DynaVox Mayer-Johnson has rolled out the DynaVox Xpress. Weighing at 1.5-pounds, the gadget has a 5-inch touchscreen display with a menu of icons with various phrases and vocabulary, and speakers to vocalize the communications. The Xpress also supports an MP3 player, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, an integrated calendar, and the ability to download new vocabulary to the device. No info on pricing or availability so far. Hammacher and Schlemmer comes back with a table radio that is able to eliminate commercials and disc jockey banter to provide uninterrupted music playback at home or using the detachable MP3 player. You just need to select your favorite FM station and the radio will learn the commercial patterns over two to three days. When the learning period is complete, it automatically record songs and uploads them to the included portable MP3 player. The MP3 player allows you to play, pause, skip, fast forward, and rewind songs and comes with a AUX cable that permits connection to a car or home stereo. The table radio uses digital signal processing and a couple of 3-inch speakers to deliver crisp and clear sound. Sony will launch a new MP3 player from its Walkman W series in Japan on June 13th, 2009. Weighing at only 35grams, the Walkman W202 features a jog wheel and a new “Zappin” song-browsing technology. The gadget will be available in black, pink, lime green and white. Its battery provides up to 12 hours of operation time. People in Japan can buy this player for 10,000 Yen ($104). Samsung will launch the U5 MP3 player that comes with a special fitness program in the Korean market. This program will allow you to know calorie consumption you can expect from your exercises. The VEDIA Idunn A1 is an MP3 player that was designed by Polish jeweler Jaroslaw Westermark. This luxurious MP3 player features 18 carat gold, high-grade silver, and Baltic amber. Only 10 of these players are available for purchase. But, if you really want to purchase it, you will have to pre-order and wait for about two months. No word on pricing so far.
