
The MCR-140 and MCR-040 are two latest mini audio systems from Yamaha that support iPhones and iPods. The Yamaha MCR-140 is able to play music wirelessly from an iPod thanks to Yamaha’s proprietary yAired standard. However, the Yamaha MCR-040 lacks of this wireless feature. Both mini audio systems support two 4-inch detachable drivers rated at 15W each, a CD player, a front panel USB port, an FM radio and auxiliary audio jack inputs. There is also an optional wireless subwoofer kit for the MCR-140 allowing for better bass delivery. After the long wait, the Sonos ZonePlayer S5 is now available for purchase. This all-in-one wireless music system has the ability to stream an iTunes library from any computer connected to the network or from a Network Attached Storage device. The gadget boasts two tweeters, two 3-inch mid-range drivers, and one 3.5-inch dedicated subwoofer. Additional features include auto-detection of connections for any iPod, CD player or TV. Pioneer will launch their latest in-house audio system in Japan during Christmas 2009. Known as the ACCO A-IW001, the gadget comes equipped with a set of speakers (S-ICH125) that should be mounted on the ceiling. The A-IW001 features an internet radio and an iPod cradle allowing you to enjoy music all over the house and being control your tunes on the fly. Itoos today announced their latest portable media player for the mass market. Dubbed as the M8, the music player supports 1080p video playback via its HDMI output. The Itoos M8 is compatible with most of famous video formats including H.263/H.264, MKV, RM, RMVB, RV8/9, MPEG4/ASP, VOB, DAT, ASF, WMV and MPEG1/2. The MSI MV652+ portable media player is actually an upgraded version of the previously released MSI MV652. The player features a 3-inch touchscreen display with a Rockchip chipset, and supports all the popular audio and video file formats. iRiver today announced the availability of N20 PMOLED MP3 player. The gadget comes equipped with a 120 x 56 PMOLED (passive matrix OLED) screen with four lines of data, which is enough to display text and simple icons. The iRiver N20 alo supports most of popular music file formats including MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC, OGG, and WAV. The 2GB and 4GB versions are priced at $95 and $110, respectively. Laptop manufacturer MSI has entered the Porable Media Player market by releasing the MT-V656. The gadget boasts a 3-inch LCD display, a silver casing, a video output, an FM tuner, an e-book reader, a digital voice recorder, games, and support for around 26 different languages. The player also support most of famous multimedia formats including MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC, APE, ACC, OGG, MPEG-4, XviD, DivX, and WMV. Sony will release their latest A-Series Walkman that comes with a touchscreen display. Measuring at just 7.2mm thin, the Sony NWA840 A-Series Walkman features a 2.8-inch OLED display with a TV-out function that can output 720 x 480 resolution video, a digital noise canceling, an S-Master digital amplifier, and an FM radio. The gadget supports MP3, WMA, AAC, HE-AAC, ATRAC, ATRAC AL, PCM/WAV, AVC (H2.64), MPEG-4 and WMV file formats. Available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models, the Sony NWA840 A-Series Walkman will go on sale in Japan next month for $263, $329, and $439, respectively.
