
Pioneer Electronics has announced the availability of the STEEZ portable music system. Designed for dancers, the Pioneer Steez is offered in three models, the STZ-D10S-L “Solo”, STZ-D10T-G “Duo”, and STZ-D10Z-R “Crew”. Both the Pioneer STZ-D10S-L “Solo” and STZ-D10T-G “Duo” feature a 2.4-inch LED QVGA display, a 4GB internal memory, a docking station for iPod and iPhone, a pair of 40mm full range drivers and a 5 Watt power output. The Pioneer STZ-D10S-L “Solo” is available in light blue, while the STZ-D10T-G “Duo” in a stylish neon green. Available in flashy red, the Pioneer STZ-D10Z-R “Crew” is the largest model that offers a 3.5-inch LED QVGA screen, two 25mm tweeters, two 75mm woofers, a 135mm dedicated subwoofer, a 40 Watts total power output, a docking station for iPod and iPhone and a 4GB internal memory. Arnoud den Besten, Kristo de Pooter, Sam Vesters and Thomas leterme from Artesis University College of Antwerp have designed the “Beat on the Block” drum glove system, which is actually a modern musical instrument. These musical gloves are easy to use. You just need to tap the glove on a flat surface to create the sound of a full drum kit through a specially designed speaker backpack. Teac today announced its new all-in-one music system called the CR-H500NT. The device comes with a built-in CD player, an FM tuner and a USB port for connecting your iPod or other USB devices. It also offers a 2x40W output and supports both Ethernet and WiFi 802.11b/g internet connectivities, allowing access to internet radio and music streaming from a networked PC/storage.
