Panasonic Strada CN-H500WD And CN-H500D In-dash Car Navigation Systems

Panasonic will launch two new GPS systems in the form of the Strada CN-H500WD and CN-H500D. These in-dash car navigation systems feature “Motion Control” user interface, allowing you to manipulate the map with hand gestures. Both navigation gadgets also provide an integrated DVD/CD player, a 7-inch (800 x 480) LED-backlit touchscreen display, a 1Seg TV tuner, SRS WOW HD, a 60GB of internal HDD and the Panasonic PEAKS image processor. Bushnell BackTrack D-Tour Personal GPS Tracking Device

Magellan RoadMate 5175T-LM GPS Navigation Device

Magellan has rolled out a new GPS navigation device that supports Wi-Fi connectivity and a web browser. Dubbed as the Magellan RoadMate 5175T-LM, the gadget features a 5-inch display, lifetime map updates and traffic, and a new feature called Tour Director. DeLorme Earthmate PN-60w With SPOT Satellite Communicator

The DeLorme Earthmate PN-60w is a successor to the PN-40, which provides an improved battery life, an expanded internal memory and the ability to link wirelessly to other PN-60w’s and the SPOT Satellite Communicator. This rugged, waterproof navigation gadget allows users to update their location through social networking services, including Facebook, Twitter, SPOTadventures.com and Geocaching.com. The DeLorme Earthmate PN-60w features a 32-channel receiver, a three-axis compass, a sensitive barometric altimeter, elevation profiles and GPX file transfers. Navigon Releases Two New 70-series GPS Navigation Systems

Navigon has added a couple of new GPS navigation systems to their 70-series devices, the Navigon 70 Easy and 70 Plus Live. Both gadgets feature a 5-inch display screen, an active lane assistant, a reality view Pro, a text-to-speech function, etc. The Navigon 70 Plus Live has a lot more features such as Google Local Search, Traffic Live, Mobile Safety Camera Live and Weather Live. What’s more, this gadget also provides Clever Parking Live, which is only available in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg. Sony Nav-u NV-U37 Portable GPS Pricing Unveiled

Sony Japan has announced more details about the Nav-u NV-U37 waterproof GPS navigator. For your info, the gadget features a 3.5-inch (320 x 240) display screen, an 8GB of onboard memory which is expandable via a memory card slot. The battery provides enough juice for up to 9-hour of navigation. Available in White, Black or Yellow, the Sony Nav-u NV-U37 will be available in Japan next month for 38,780 Yen (around $500). TomTom Go Live 800 GPS Navigator Series

TomTom will release the Go Live 800 GPS navigator series in Europe. The series consists of the Go Live 820 and Go Live 825. The former comes equipped with a 4.3-inch display screen, while the latter has a bigger 5-inch display screen. Both models feature Bluetooth connectivity and a voice command recognition. The TomTom Go Live 825 is priced at £230 ($374). The price for the TomTom Go Live 820 hasn’t been announced yet. These GPS navigation gadgets will be launched in September 2011. [Navigadget]

Pioneer AVIC-VH09CS Augmented Reality Navigation System

Pioneer today introduced the world’s first augmented reality navigation system. The Pioneer AVIC-VH09CS comes jam packed with a 7-inch LCD display, a DVD/ CD player, a USB 2.0 port, an SD card slot and Bluetooth connectivity. What makes this navigation gadget interesting is that it has the Augmented Reality (AR) Scouter Mode. Using a windshield-mounted camera, the AVIC-VH09CS streams live footage to a 7-inch in-dash display, adding layers of pertinent information to real-time video. The Augmented Reality-capabilities provide visual cues that alert drivers to the changing of upcoming traffic lights and the exact distance of the next turn. Samsung has introduced the SENS-240 hybrid car navigation system/ tablet that works perfectly with your Android-powered Samsung smartphone and tablet. The SENS-240 uses Bluetooth to take over your voice, data, voice search, and video features from your smartphone when driving. You can then control the SENS-240 using your smartphone or tablet as an “advanced” remote when idle. The new Samsung SENS-240 comes jam packed with a 1.43GHz processor, a 7-inch (800 x 480) display, a 256MB of RAM, a USB-host mode and an SD slot.
