Korean manufacturer D.O.Tel has received a green light from the omnipotent FCC for their brand new GPS device, the Smart Navi DOTN-400. The device sports Bluetooth microphone, SD/MMC memory card slot and a cigarette lighter adapter for charging the device. The Smart Navi connects to your PC/laptop via USB interface. It also supports MP3, WMA and WAV file formats and comes with volume control buttons on the front. Other specs include the QVGA screen with 320×240 pixels resolution(16-bit color). Pricing and availability are still in mystery.

JVC has a new navigation system for Europe in the form of the KV-PX70. It comes with a wide 4.3 inch wide touchscreen, an integrated TMC receiver, Bluetooth support for hands-free phone calls, and an SD/MMC slot to bring and play your favorite photos or videos. You can buy this navigation system for $743 after conversion.

Harman Kardon has launched GPS-500, the small GPS device with media functionality. This gadget supports a hi-fi music player with FM transmitter, video player, 2GB of internal storage with optional SD expandability, and can play MP3, MP4, WMA, ASF, WAV and OGG file formats. Harman Kardon GPS-500 will be on sale later this month for $500.

Atlantis GPS X-380 is a GPS navigation system with a 3.5 inch touch screen display and an SD slot for maps. It provides 3D view with pan and zoom functions, automatic re-routing, day/night mode, POIs, and also an MP3 player.
The gadget speaks 18 different languages when it comes to give directions through its built-in speaker. Moreover, it runs Windows CE.Net 4.2 on a 300MHz processor and comes with 64MB of RAM. The onboard battery has 1400mAh of capacity which should last about 4 hours before it needs to charge. You can buy the Atlantis GPS X-380 at Amazon for $450.

Transystem’s i-Blue 757 is a solar-powered Bluetooth 16-channel Nemerix GPS receiver. The gadget features a unique clamshell design with the lower portion housing the solar cell, the battery, and the circuitry, and the upper portion houses the GPS antenna. It also has an embedded rechargeable 1000mAh Li-Ion battery that provides up to 30 hours of run time, while additional solar charging can provide up to 100 hours. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on the pricing or availability.

Nokia has released a new commercial video for their upcoming N95 cellphone. We have mentioned this phone several months ago. Just a recap, the handset features a 2.6-inch QVGA display, 5.0MP camera, 150MB built-in memory, microSD card slot, GPS and 802.11g Wi-Fi support, HSDPA, ATI 3D graphics chip, dedicated music keys, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
