
NEC is bringing you their newest Full HD monitor, the AS241W. As part of the AccuSync series, this new 24-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time, and features both DVI-D and mini D-Sub connectors. NEC is preparing to drop their latest Full HD monitor ‘MultiSync EA243WM’ in the US this month. Featuring a TN panel, this new 24-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1200 Full HD resolution, 25,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (1000:1 typical) and 250 cd/m2 brightness. NEC is gearing up to launch a new Full HD monitor in Japan called the LCD-EA243WM. Featuring a TN panel, this new 24.1-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 25,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 170/160 degree viewing angles. What’s more, it also has two built-in 1W stereo speakers and a 4-port USB 2.0 Hub, and a number of connectivity ports including DisplayPort, DVI-D, mini D-Sub and HDMI. NEC is ready to release the TeleScouter head mounted display in Japan. The system consists of a pair of glasses and a compact 500MHz ARM-based computer. These glasses enable users to view a virtual 16-inch transparent display which is projected in front of them. The mini computer features a 256MB of RAM, up to 2GB of storage space, WiFi a/b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR and a microSD card slot. Measuring 140mm x 90mm x 55mm and weighing 360 grams, the computer is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery, offering up to 4-hour of operation time. According to NEC, the TeleScouter allow employees to view documents such as manuals, technical notes or reports while working with their hands. NEC is about to unleash another LCD monitor ‘MultiSync LCD-P241W’ into the market. Designed for professionals, this new 24.1-inch widescreen monitor makes use of an IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel and provides 1920 x 1200 native resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 360 cd/m2 brightness and 15ms response time. It also comes with a number of connectivity ports including dual DVI-D, mini D-Sub and DisplayPort. The MultiSync LCD-P241W will start shipping from November 9th for around 65,000 Yen (about $850). NEC has introduced another one of its upcoming 3D all-in-one desktop PC namely the ValueStar N VN790/FS. This space-saving machine sports a 21.5-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD 3D display, a 2.20GHz Intel Core i7-2670QM processor, an Intel HM65 Express Chipset, an 8GB DDR3 RAM, a 2TB hard drive, a Blu-ray drive, a CS digital TV tuner, a card reader, WiFi, 2x USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (SP1) OS. NEC today introduced the LaVie Touch Windows 7 tablet in Japan. Measuring 263mm x 183mm x 15.8mm and weighing 729 grams, the gadget comes equipped with three hardware add-ons out of the box including a DVD-drive, a wireless mouse, and a wireless keyboard. The NEC LaVie Touch features a 10.1-inch IPS LCD panel with a 1,280×800 resolution with the ExTouch UI, a 1.50GHz Intel Atom Z670 processor, an Intel SM35 Express chipset, a 2GB of RAM, and a 64GB SSD. Additional specs include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, a 1.3MP digital camera, HDMI, and an SDHC card slot for storage expansion. Its battery provides up to 10.6-hour of battery life. Here comes a new LED multimedia projector from NEC, the NP-L50WJD. This compact and lightweight LED-based projector delivers 1280 x 768 native resolution, 500 ANSI lumens brightness and up to 20,000 hours of LED lamp life. Not only that, it also has a built-in media player, a 1GB of internal memory, an SD card slot, a built-in 2W mono speaker and a number of connectivity ports including USB, mini D-Sub, Component, Composite and HDMI.
