
NEC has rolled out another eco-friendly LCD monitor aimed specifically at office users. Dubbed as the MultiSync LCD175M, this new 17-inch LCD monitor is an energy efficient display, reducing power consumption by almost 42% compared to regular panels. As for the specs itself, it provides a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, 5ms response time, 250 cd/m2 brightness and features an EPEAT Gold rating, a TCO 5.0 certification and Energy Star 5.0 compliance. NEC today announced a new entry-level installation projector called the NP610. Designed specifically for large conference rooms or lecture halls, this projector provides a native resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, 500:1 contrast ratio, 3500 ANSI lumens brightness, up to 5000 hours of lamp life (in ECO Mode) and consumes 312W power in normal mode or 237W power in ECO mode. NEC has proudly announced the world’s first smallest WiMAX router with wireless LAN support. Known as the Aterm WM3300R, the device measures at only 94mm x 67mm x 22mm and weights for 145grams. The WiMAX router comes with embedded Wireless LAN (BG), offering Multi SSID functions and basic Wireless LAN Security protocols like WEP and WPA(TKIP/AES). NEC today introduced two new DLP projectors to its NP Value series by announcing the NP110 and NP215. Both of these projectors provide 2500 lumens brightness, 2000:1 contrast ratio, up to 5000 hours of lamp life (in ECO mode), BrilliantColor technology, built-in wall color correction presets, a filter-free design and consume no more than 0.49W in standby mode. NEC has finally unveiled their latest large venue projector known as the NP4100. This projector provides 6,200 ANSI lumens, a XGA (1,024 x 768) resolution and a 2,100:1 contrast ratio. NEC has released two new LCD displays in the US, which is known as the LCD2490WUXi2 and LCD2490W2. These 24-inch LCD screens support IPS panels that produce superior images compared to PVA or TN screens. These LCD displays also provides approximately 96.7% coverage of the sRGB color space that is perfect for pro-level image editing.
