
NEC is gearing up to drop their latest P-IPS LCD monitor into the market called the MultiSync PA301W. Designed specifically for professionals, this new 30-inch widescreen monitor makes use of a true 10-bit P-IPS panel and delivers 2560 x 1600 native resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness and 6ms GTG response time. No only that, it also features an in-built 14-bit LUT for the smoothest color reproduction, a 3D LUT for precise color space emulation and provides 107% coverage of the Adobe RGB color space. NEC is planning on launching their latest Full HD monitor ‘MultiSync EA232WMi‘ in Europe later this month. In case you didn’t remember, this new 23-inch W-LED backlight monitor makes use of an IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel and provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness and 14ms response time. What’s more, the monitor is also Energy Star 5.0 certified and comes with two built-in 1W speakers, four USB, D-Sub, DVI and DisplayPort connectors. NEC is planning on launching their newest Android tablet ‘Smartia’ in Japan next month, which is basically the consumer-oriented version of its LifeTouch ‘cloud communicator’. Specs-wise, the device is equipped with a 7-inch 800 x 480 resistive touchscreen display, a 600MHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, a 384MB RAM, a 1GB of internal memory, an SD/SDHC card slot, a 3.0-megapixel camera, GPS, an accelerometer sensor, WiFi, Bluetooth and runs on Android 2.1 OS. NEC has added two new LCD monitors to its range by unveiling the 19-inch MultiSync EA192M (pictured above) and 20-inch MultiSync E201W. Both of these LED-backlit monitors are compliant with Energy Star 5.0 and TCO 5.0 standards, and provide 1280 x 1024 native resolution (EA192M), 1600 x 900 native resolution (E201W), 25,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time.
