
The Gateway’s latest Timeline netbook is now available for purchase. The mini-laptop is powered by a 1.2GHz Athlon 64 L110 processor with an integrated ATI Radeon X1270 graphics card, a WXGA resolution display, a 2GB RAM and a 250GB HDD. Other features include a memory card reader, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g connectivity, an integrated webcam, three USB 2.0 ports and a 6-cell Li-ion battery. Gateway today rolled out its new 11.6-inch netbook in the form of the LT3100. It features a single-core AMD Athlon 64 L110 CPU running at 1.2 GHz, ATI Radeon X1270 graphics, and a 2GB of memory. DosPara today released its first Ion-based netbook for the Japanese market, which is dubbed as the Prime Note Cresion NA. The netbook features an Intel Atom A330 CPU with a 2GB of RAM, a 320GB of HDD, a 12.1-inch LCD with a 1366×768 resolution, a DVD super Multi, Wi-Fi, three USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI out, and D-SUB. The Asus Eee PC 1101HA is a new variant of Eee PC series netbook that comes equipped with a 11.6-inch (1,366 x 768) display, an Intel Atom Z520 1.3GHz processor, a 11-hour battery life, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a 1GB RAM and a 160GB hard drive. NEC comes back with two new netbooks from its LaVie Light series. Dubbed as the LaVie Light BL300 and BL100, both netbooks come with Wi-Fi, and a 10.1-inch LCD with LED backlight. The BL100 is powered by an Intel Atom N270 CPU and a 16GB SSD, meanwhile the BL300 features an Intel Atom N280 CPU with an option of 160GB HDD or a 16GB SSD. No info on pricing so far. HP has launched three new netbooks from its Mini netbook lineup. The HP Mini 1101, 110 XP, and 110 Mi feature a 10.1-inch widescreen LED, autosync software for easier connectivity to your primary PC, and the standard 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 / 1.66GHz N280 processor options with GMA 950 graphics, VGA output, 3 or 6 cell batteries, and Wi-Fi.
The Mini 110 XP model boasts a 1GB RAM, a choice of 160GB HDD or 32GB SSD, and a Broadcom Crystal HD Enhanced Video Accelerator, which is good for 1080p video playback. Meanwhile, the Linux-based Mini 110 Mi has up to 250GB HDD and 2GB memory.
The HP Mini 1101 will be released on June 1st, 2009 for $329 in gloss black, meanwhile the black swirl Mini 110 XP and Mini 110 Mi will be launched on June 10th, 2009 for $329.99 and $279.99, respectively. Acer has recently rolled out a new member for its netbook series by releasing the LT3000 11.6-inch wide netbook. It comes with a 1366×768 resolution display, a 1.33 GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, a 1GB of RAM, 160GB of HDD and US15W chipset. The netbook also sports three USB 2.0 ports, IEEE 802.11 b/g wireless LAN, Bluetooth 2.0, card reader, a 3MP webcam and Windows XP operating system. The specification of the Asus Eee PC 1005HA has been unveiled. Available in white, black, pink and blue, the 10.1-inch netbook is powered by either Intel Atom N270 or N280 CPU, a 160GB hard drive, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and a LED-backlit display (1,024 x 600 resolution). Other features include a 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 0.3 or 1.3MP webcam, VGA output, three USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet, a multicard reader, and audio in / out. The Wind U115 is the first netbook from MSI to feature both a solid state disk and a hard drive. This hybrid netbook will be released in Japan this week for 69,800 Yen or about $723. The Acer Aspire One D250 and 751 netbooks are now available in the US. Measuring 10.17-inch x 7.24-inch x 1-inch, the Acer Aspire One D250 has a 10.1 inch (1024 x 600 pixel) display with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 3-cell (2600mAh) battery, and 802.11b/g/ Wi-FI. The netbook comes with an MSRP of $298.
The Aspire One 751 is bigger than the D250. It has an 11-inch (1364 x 768 pixel) display, an 1.22GHz Intel Atom Z520 CPU, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, and 802.11b/g WiFi.
