Gateway has finally released the LT2000 10.1-inch netbook that comes jam packed with a 1.6GHz Atom N270 CPU, a LED-backlit 1,024 x 600 resolution display, a 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 160GB 5400RPM hard drive, an Intel GMA950 graphics set, a card reader, a built-in webcam, twin stereo speakers, a trio of USB 2.0 sockets, and a three-cell battery. Medion will release the Akoya Mini E1312 11.6-inch netbook in the UK exclusively at Aldi stores from July 12th, 2009 onwards. The netbook comes jam packed with a 1366 x 768 LCD display, an AMD Sempron 210U CPU, an ATI Radeon TM Xpress 1250 graphics, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB HDD, and 802.11n Wi-Fi. Available in black or white, the netbook also features a 6-cell or 9-cell battery, HDMI out, three USB ports, 3-in-1 card reader, Bluetooth 2.1, a 1.3MP webcam for video conference, and Microsoft Windows XP Home OS. The mini-laptop is powered by a 1.2GHz Athlon 64 L110 processor with an integrated ATI Radeon X1270 graphics card, a WXGA resolution display, a 2GB RAM and a 250GB HDD. Other features include a memory card reader, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g connectivity, an integrated webcam, three USB 2.0 ports and a 6-cell Li-ion battery. DosPara today released its first Ion-based netbook for the Japanese market, which is dubbed as the Prime Note Cresion NA. NEC comes back with two new netbooks from its LaVie Light series. Dubbed as the LaVie Light BL300 and BL100, both netbooks come with Wi-Fi, and a 10.1-inch LCD with LED backlight. The BL100 is powered by an Intel Atom N270 CPU and a 16GB SSD, meanwhile the BL300 features an Intel Atom N280 CPU with an option of 160GB HDD or a 16GB SSD. No info on pricing so far. HP has launched three new netbooks from its Mini netbook lineup. The HP Mini 1101, 110 XP, and 110 Mi feature a 10.1-inch widescreen LED, autosync software for easier connectivity to your primary PC, and the standard 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 / 1.66GHz N280 processor options with GMA 950 graphics, VGA output, 3 or 6 cell batteries, and Wi-Fi.
The Mini 110 XP model boasts a 1GB RAM, a choice of 160GB HDD or 32GB SSD, and a Broadcom Crystal HD Enhanced Video Accelerator, which is good for 1080p video playback. Meanwhile, the Linux-based Mini 110 Mi has up to 250GB HDD and 2GB memory.
The HP Mini 1101 will be released on June 1st, 2009 for $329 in gloss black, meanwhile the black swirl Mini 110 XP and Mini 110 Mi will be launched on June 10th, 2009 for $329.99 and $279.99, respectively. Acer has recently rolled out a new member for its netbook series by releasing the LT3000 11.6-inch wide netbook. It comes with a 1366×768 resolution display, a 1.33 GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, a 1GB of RAM, 160GB of HDD and US15W chipset. The netbook also sports three USB 2.0 ports, IEEE 802.11 b/g wireless LAN, Bluetooth 2.0, card reader, a 3MP webcam and Windows XP operating system.
