Weighing at 1.4-Kg or about 3-pounds, the laptop comes with a 12-inch (1366 x 768 pixel) LED-backlit display, Intel GMA 4500M integrated graphics, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, a 2GB of DDR2 memory, and a 250GB HDD. Asus will release its Eee PC 1002 HAE netbook in the Japanese market on May 16, 2009. What makes this netbook special is that it comes with a sleek aluminum body. The netbook adopts a 10.1-inch WSVGA (1,024×600) LCD screen with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD and Microsoft Windows XP OS. The Asus Eee PC Seashell a.k.a. Eee 1008HA netbook is now official. Equipped with a 10-inch LED-backlit WSVGA display (1024×600 pixels), ergonomically designed keyboard, intelligent energy management system and an intuitive multi-touch touch-pad, the Eee PC Seashell aims to provide users with the best mobile computing experience, wherever their journeys take them. The netbook measures at only 26mm thick and features an Intel Atom N280 processor with a 160GB hard drive, 1GB of memory, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. Unforunately, it comes with an internal battery. What makes these netbooks special is the Easy Face Manager function that can scan the face of the user and record facial recognition through eyes, cheekbones, jaw line, and nose detection. The user can then use this to adjust personal security identification with up to ten facial expressions per user. Acer today rolled out their latest Aspire One 751. The 11.6 inch netbook comes with a larger trackpad compared to its predecessors and competitors. The 11.6 inch display provides a resolution of 1,366 x 768. Other important features include Wi-Fi, 3G, an Intel Atom Z530 1.6GHz, a SCH USW15S Chipset, GMA500 graphics, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 6-cell battery, and Windows XP Pro. The pricing and availability for the MSI X320 and X340 netbooks have been unveiled. Priced at under $1000, the MSI X340 comes equipped with an Intel’s SU3500 CULV processor running at 1.3Ghz, 4GB of RAM, and a 1080p-capable GMA4500MHD graphics. Meanwhile, the MSI X320 is priced at $700 for the basic configuration that consists of a 1.6Ghz Atom CPU, GMA500 graphics, 2GB RAM, and an optional 3G/WiMAX. Both netbooks feature a 1366 x 768 13.4-inch display, 250GB of HDD, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA outputs and a 4-Cell battery.
