
Here is the successor to the standard MSI U100 netbook. Dubbed as the Wind U100 Plus, the 10-inch netbook comes equipped with an Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz processor, up to 2GB of DDR2 memory, a 160GB hard drive with Windows XP Home preloaded, the GMA 950 integrated graphics, and a 3- or 6-cell battery. Its 10-inch LED backlight display comes with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. Available in Imperial Black, Angelic White, Regal Red, Rose Champagne and Metallic Blue, the MSI Wind U100 Plus also supports a 1.3MP webcam, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an Ethernet LAN port, three USB ports, a 4-in-1 media card reader, and a VGA output. MSI just launched the Wind U123, U123H, and U123T all featuring a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU, a 10-inch LCD screen (1024 x 600 resolution), 1GB of RAM, up to 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, a webcam, an optional 3 or 6 cell battery, and Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition. What makes these netbooks special is the Easy Face Manager function that can scan the face of the user and record facial recognition through eyes, cheekbones, jaw line, and nose detection. The user can then use this to adjust personal security identification with up to ten facial expressions per user. Acer today rolled out their latest Aspire One 751. The 11.6 inch netbook comes with a larger trackpad compared to its predecessors and competitors. The 11.6 inch display provides a resolution of 1,366 x 768. Other important features include Wi-Fi, 3G, an Intel Atom Z530 1.6GHz, a SCH USW15S Chipset, GMA500 graphics, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 6-cell battery, and Windows XP Pro. The pricing and availability for the MSI X320 and X340 netbooks have been unveiled. Priced at under $1000, the MSI X340 comes equipped with an Intel’s SU3500 CULV processor running at 1.3Ghz, 4GB of RAM, and a 1080p-capable GMA4500MHD graphics. Meanwhile, the MSI X320 is priced at $700 for the basic configuration that consists of a 1.6Ghz Atom CPU, GMA500 graphics, 2GB RAM, and an optional 3G/WiMAX. Both netbooks feature a 1366 x 768 13.4-inch display, 250GB of HDD, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA outputs and a 4-Cell battery. The U123 is the latest netbook from the Taiwanese manufacturer MSI. The netbook comes equipped with an Intel Atom N280 CPU running at 1.66GHz on a 945GSE+ICH7M Chipset. Other specs includes a 10 inch WSVGA LCD, 1GB of RAM (Max 2), 160GB of HDD, Wifi N, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, SDHC port, and a webcam.
