
NetGear comes back with their latest product in the form of the Rangemax Wireless-N Gigabit router (model number: WNR3500L). The router supports full 802.11n speeds with four Gigabit Ethernet ports to provide a high speed wired connection. The Rangemax Wireless-N uses the powerful Broadcom 480MHz MIPS 74K CPU with an 8MB of Flash and a 64MB of RAM allowing the router to use open source Linux as its operating system. NetGear comes back to the NAS market with the Stora, a home network storage that is designed for first-time users who don’t want to learn server administration. Netgear’s new open source router, the WGR614L, allows users to fine-tune settings including signal strength and security without the need to wait for Netgear to add those features themselves. Netgear’s WNDA3100 wireless-N USB adapter has recently passed the FCC and will be available fairly soon. The only specs we know of so far is that it supports WEP and WPA / WPA2 formats of storage. No word on price or release dates or any other specs for that matter.

Netgear has brought to the public’s attention their new line of NAS (Network Attached Storage) devices that have capacities ranging from 1.5TB to 4TB for storage, are able to acess an Ethernet network and used to share or backup your data. All the models support Windows, Mac, and Linux so you wont have to worry about not be able to use this on one or all of your systems if you have one.
