If you are a fan of Ace Attorney (Phoneix Wright), then you will be happy to know that Capcom will release a new game based on this famous series at the end of this month. Capcom will release a limited edition of a DSi covered with Taihokun, the Police Mascot designed by Gumshoe (a Character in the game) and a special package including the new opus of the Ace Attorney series. Apparently Nintendo is about to announce their next-gen Nintendo DS console. According to MCV‘s sources in Japan, Satoru Iwata will make a press release at 9pm PST tomorrow. Not sure what time that is in Japan but this is exciting news. We learned very little details about the new console except that it will sport MP3 playing and some camera functions. [Gizmodo via the Video Games Blog]

Looks like Bape and Nintendo have collaborated on a new limited edition DS Lite. The Bape Nintendo DS Llites come in either a white or gold color and have printed Milo characters on the front of them. Other than that, there hasn’t been other specs or an asking price for this baby yet, so we have to keep all those DS gamers as well as Bape fans in suspense for a little bit longer! Hiroshi Fujiwara from Japanese online magazine Honeyee has designed a limited-edition Nintendo DS Lite. It features “a matte black exterior with co-ordinating jazzy white interior and hinges.” No word on pricing so far, we just know this might make you popular with Japanese schoolgirls, which has its benefits.

Check out a hacked Pekee robot by some French engineering students. Apparently, the robot was hacked so that a Nintendo DS functions as a remote control for the robot. Video after the break.
Pretty soon Nintendo will release its new Cobalt Blue/Black model for Nintendo DS Lite, no word on the release date yet, but Circuit City will gladly take your $130 now and ship it to you as soon as it’s available. Just check out Circuit City’s website for pre-order.
