Nintendo has decided to release the Black Nintendo Wii in the US market. The special edition Wii comes equipped with a black Nintendo Wii console, a black Wiimote + MotionPlus attachment, Wii Sports, and Wii Sports Resort. Here is the Energizer-branded Induction Charge Station that uses induction to achieve wireless charging of the Wii remotes. The charge station for Wii is pre-order now for $50 each. It may look like Nintendo Wii – but don’t let the look deceive you, it is actually just the casing. Some creative case-modder couldn’t leave Wii the way it is – while the Wii hardware taken out, the internal is actually replaced with PC Motherboard and components. The computer features 1.3GHz Celeron core, and has 512MB of RAM and packs a 40GB hard drive. It is also equipped with DVI video and USB ports. From the looks of it, the PC Wii may have to rely on external DVD drive – due to insufficient space. [Technabob]
