Here is a picture gallery of the 2009 Nissan GT-R a high-performance sports car from Nissan available in coupe form with a 2+2 seating layout.
There are two variants, the Base and the Premium. The Base model comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, xenon headlights, Brembo brakes, a rear spoiler, an electronically adjustable suspension, leather upholstery, power front seats, aluminum-trimmed pedals, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, Bluetooth, keyless entry/start, automatic climate control, a six-speaker sound system, XM Satellite Radio, a multifunction driver-configurable information monitor, an in-dash Compact Flash card reader and a navigation system with a 30-gigabyte hard drive which can also be used for audio storage.
Meanwhile, the Premium version adds higher-performance tires, an 11-speaker Bose audio system with two subwoofers, heated front seats, front passenger side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags. Check out Nissan’s newest breakthrough concept, Pivo 2. A ball-shaped electric vehicle that can maneuver into tight parking spots without backing up and features a robotic bobblehead in the cabin that can detect the driver’s mood by analyzing changes in facial expressions. This three-seater vechicle is powered by advanced compact lithium-ion batteries with travel range about 78 miles on a single charge and featuring a unique rotating cabin – meaning no reverse gear required. The 2008 New York International Auto Show kicks off today and one of the main attractions is the world debut of the Nissan Denki (Japanese for ‘electric’) Cube Concept. The lithium-ion battery-powered Denki Cube electric vehicle concept was created to promote Nissan’s environmental efforts but also serves as a preview as Nissan plans to sell a redesigned gasoline-powered, next-generation Cube in the United States and Canada in 2009.
