Nissan has introduced its all new 2009 GT-R at the LA Auto Show. This AWD sports car is powered by a twin-turbo 3.8L V6 that produces 480 HP and 430 ft-lbs of torque. The car is priced at $69,850 when it’s released next year. The company will accept the pre-orders in January. Autoblog provides us with a video of the 2009 Nissan GT-R. Video after the jump.

Changing colors for your car has gotten easier than ever with Nissan’s new paramagnetic” paint coating which is a polymer layer that has iron oxide particles that are applied to the body of the vehicle, changing the car as a matter of flicking a switch. They also developed a self-healing “Scratch Guard Coat” which protects against scratches caused by anything and will allow the scratches to correct itself within a week depending on the severity. Nissan will most likely offer these features in 2010.
Nissan recently showcased its new concept car called the Round Box at Tokyo Motor Show 2007. It is a small compact convertible concept car that features ‘Road Surface Window’, enabling users to see the road and feel the thrills of driving inside the car. Its newly ‘Play Catch’ system also helps the passengers to feel a sense of oneness by sharing driving information and entertainment content.

The Nissan GT-R will go toe-to-toe with the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and Porsche 911 Turbo. The GT-R’s twin-turbo V6 gives it a startling 0 to 60 mph time of near 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 192 mph. That V6 cranks out 473 hp and 433 lb-ft of torque, driving all four wheels through a rear-mounted transaxle. In between is a GR6 dual-clutch six-speed automatic you can operate via paddles on the steering wheel. Base price is expected to be less than $80,000.

The 2057 Nissan OneOne “moves around by flexing synthetic muscles in its leg to create a skating motion. When traveling fast the OneOne hunkers down low to the ground, but can raise itself for better maneuverability in congested areas.” The concept is also known as a “family pet”.

Here is a road test video of Nissan R34 GT-R Z-Tune, which boasts a twin-turbocharged inline-6 engine that produces 500PS and 540Nm torque. FYI, the car was handmade built the exact same way as Nissan race cars and features years of technological improvements all there to create a unique and sensational ride. The Nissan 350Z is powered by a V6 engine that produces 306hp @ 6800rpm and 260 lb-ft torque @ 4880rpm. The car also utilizes special body dampers mounted in the front radiator core support and in the rear cargo area, which assist in controlling body vibrations. Watch a video after the jump.
