
The specs of the upcoming Nokia N900 internet tablet have been unveiled. Measuring 59.7mm x 111mm x 18.2mm and weighing at 180grams, the successor to the current N810 will be featured by a 3.5-inch 800×480 (WVGA) touchscreen, OMAP3430 500/600 Mhz processor, a 1GB total virtual runtime memory, a 32GB internal storage (expandable up to 48GB via external memory), a 5.0MP Carl Zeiss camera with dual-LED flash, auto-focus and sliding cover. Nokia has introduced the successor to its 6600 slide series with the introduction of Nokia 6600i slide, which is also claimed as Nokia’s smallest 5 megapixel slider. This new slider phones has a better camera performance when compared to the old phone, it’s equipped with a 5MP camera with dual LED flash (the old phone only has a 3.2MP one). Not to mention, it also comes with a relatively affordable price of just €200 ($271). Nokia has confirmed that the N97 NAM will be released in North America on June 2nd, 2009. You can expect many of the U.S. retailers to sell the Nokia N97 NAM for around $600 even if the suggested price is $699. Nokia has decided to give new color for the Nokia’s E55 that was released last week. The handset is now available in black, white, and a new red color. This ultra thin smartphone is touted as “the world’s most compact messaging device”. It runs on Symbian S60 3.2 Edition and features Wi-Fi, a 2.4 inch QVGA display with 16 million colors, digital compass, a 3.5mm headset jack and a 3.2MP autofocus camera. Nokia has proudly introduced its N97 smartphone during Mobile World Congress 2009. The smartphone comes with a 3.5-inch tilt touch screen and a full QWERTY keypad. There are also a 32GB built-in memory and additional 16GB microSD card. The N97 features GPS, HSDPA, WiFi, stereo Bluetooth, a 5MP camera with dual LED flash, and a USB 2.0 port.
