HP has finally released the HP Envy 17 laptop with the ATI Eyefinity multi-display technology that allows you to connect up to three external displays. The laptop is currently available in the base and recommended configurations. Priced at $1,400, the base configuration features a 2.26GHz Intel Core i5 CPU with a 4GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD, a 17-inch (1600 x 900) LCD display and an ATI Radion HD 5850 graphics. HP’s recommended configuration of Envy 17 boasts a more powerful 2.6GHz Intel Core i7 CPU, a 6GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive and a 17-inch (1920 x 1080) LCD display. The recommended configuration retails for $2,150. Both models come equipped with an HP TrueVision HD webcam and a 6-cell Lithium-Ion battery that provides enough juice for up to 2.5-hour. Designed for bloggers, gamers, and multimedia enthusiasts, the new BenQ Joybook R48 comes jam packed with an Intel Core i3 processor, a 14-inch (1366 x 768) display screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio, and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5450 graphics card. The new Dell Inspiron M501R is powered by AMD’s new Phenom II X4 mobile processor, codenamed Champlain. FYI, the Phenom II X4 is a Quad Core chip with a clock speed of up to 2.3GHz. This laptop comes with either a 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics or ATI Mobility Radeon HD 550v graphics, a 15.6-inch 720p HD-capable display, a standard DVD burner and an optional Blu-ray drive. Other features include an integrated 1,3MP webcam, a couple of speakers, 802.11n WiFi, optional Bluetooth, Ethernet LAN, three USB ports, an eSATA/USB port, optional 7-in-1 media card reader, VGA and HDMI outputs, and a full-size keyboard with numeric pad. Weighing 5.83 pounds, the Dell Inspiron M501R comes equipped with a standard 6-cell battery. Samsung is ready to launch the new Samsung P580, which is a new addition to its highly successful P-Series of professional laptops. Designed for busy professionals, the 15.6-inch laptop comes jam packed with an anti-glare LED-lit display screen with a 1,366 x 768 pixel resolution, up to 4GB of RAM, an Intel Core i3 or i5 CPU, an nVidia GeForce GT 330M (1GB GDDR3) graphics, Trusted Platform Module security, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and a keyboard with numeric keypad. Hewlett-Packard will launch the new HP Pavilion dv6 in May 19th, 2010. The new laptop comes equipped with the company’s MediaSmart and TouchSmart softwares that provide seamless integration with entertainment apps including Hulu, Twitter, and much more. The HP Pavilion dv6 is powered by Quad Core processors, up to 1TB of storage, a 15.6-inch touchscreen display, a Dolby advanced audio system with Altec Lansing speakers, VGA, eSATA and HDMI ports. Available in a brushed aluminum finish or HP Imprint finishes in black cherry, champagne and sonoma red, the HP Pavilion dv6 is priced at $529.99 for the AMD-powered version and $649.99 for the Intel-powered version. MSI CX705MX Notebook

Taiwan-based MSI today introduced the new 17.3-inch CX705MX, which ships with a 512MB ATI Radeon HD 545V graphics chipset. This graphics chipset allows you to enjoy and watch HD videos on its 1600 x 900 resolution screen. Powered by Windows 7 Home Premium, the laptop comes jam packed with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, a 250GB – 500GB hard disk drive, and a 1.3-megapixel webcam. Additional features include a 4-in-1 memory card reader, an HDMI output, a VGA output, three USB ports, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, an Ethernet port, two 2W speakers and a subwoofer. Origin has updated its gaming notebook lineup by releasing a 15.6-inch EON15. The laptop provides an Intel Core i7 processor (1.6GHz or 1.73GHz), an nVidia GeForce GTX 285M graphics card, a 7.1 High Definition Audio, and a full size keyboard with numeric pad. Additional specs include up to 8GB DDR3 memory, a 640GB hard drive, an optional SSD, a Blu-ray drive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, and Microsoft Windows 7 OS. The Origin EON15 retails for $1,899. Four New Dell Vostro Laptops

Dell has updated its Vostro laptop line up with four new models such as the Dell Vostro 3300, 3400, 3500, and 3700. All models feature an aluminum case with three sophisticated color choices. The Dell Vostro 3300, Vostro 3400, 3500 come with a 13.3-inch, 14-inch, and 15.6-inch LED backlit display, respectively. These laptops boast an Intel Core i3/i5 processor with up to 8GB DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard drive, a 512MB nVidia Geforce 310M graphics, a DVD burner, a 2.0MP webcam, a fingerprint reader and Windows 7. Meanwhile, the Vostro 3700 is a true desktop replacement notebook with a 17.3-inch display. This high-end version uses Intel’s Core i7 quad-core processor and a 1GB nVidia Geforce GT330M graphics. Asus ROG G73jh Gaming Laptop

Asus has recently showed off their latest Republic of Gamers (ROG) gaming notebook at CES 2010. Known as the Asus ROG G73jh, the 17.3-inch laptop comes with a matte black exterior and angular heat exhausts. It is powered by the latest Intel Core i7 processor with up to 8GB of RAM, a 1920 x 1080 resolution LCD screen, a 1TB of hard disk drive, and an ATI Radeon HD5870 mobile graphics.
