Lenovo today introduced the IdeaPad Y550P notebook, which is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor with the Turbo Boost technology. The 15.6-inch notebook provides a 1366×768 HD LCD display with up to 8GB of RAM, and a powerful nVidia GeForce 240M graphics. The Lenovo IdeaPad Y550P is ideal for gamers who need a powerful gaming laptop. Additional features include a Blu-ray drive, Windows 7 Home Premium, and a SlideNav that is designed to help users navigate programs, documents and shortcuts. HP Compaq today unveiled their latest 15.6 laptop that is aimed at first PC buyers or users who do basic computing tasks like web, music, email and watching DVD. HP has collaborated with rapper Dr Dre to release a limited edition HP Envy 15 Beats. The laptop will feature a Beats sound system and a piano black high gloss finish, and a signature Beats design. Using this hardware configurations, latest PC games will run smoothly. The laptop comes jam packed with a 1.3GHz Intel SU7300 ultra-low voltage processor with an Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics, a 1,366 x 768 glare-type LED backlight display, up to 4GB RAM, a 320GB hard drive and Windows Vista Home Premium OS. LG Electronics today unveiled its new WIDEBOOK notebook range that provides an extreme entertainment experience to consumers. The LG WIDEBOOK range consists of five models including the R580, R560, R480, R460 and R380. Each models features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, an SRS TruSurround HD sound, and a wide 16:9 HD LED-backlit display, which is optimized for HD content and provides in 1600 x 900 and 1368 x 768 HD pixel resolutions, depending on the model.
The R580 and R560 boast a 15.6-inch display, while the R480 and R460 feature a 14-inch screen. The R380 is a smaller model that comes with a 13.3-inch panel.
