Dell has collaborated with Blizzard to release the XPS M1730 World of Warcraft (WoW) Edition gaming notebook. It will be released to all US customers from December 11th, 2007. The desktop replacement features custom WoW artwork inside and out along with exclusive rare bonus items and a WoW backpack that is filled with game-themed extras. The notebook will be made available for purchase by those who have pre-registered for early access during the “It Begins” quest and retails for a hefty $4,499.

Asus will release the new 14.1-inch F8P Christmas Edition notebook PC. It is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 256MB AMD ATI Mobility Radeon HD2400 VGA card, and 250GB hard disk drive. You can also customize the laptop with a higher specs including 2.2GHz C2D 7500 CPU, up to 2GB RAM, 1GB Intel Turbo Memory, 14.1 inch WXGA (1280 x 800) LCD display, dual layer DVD burner, 5 USB ports, 8-in1 card reader, 802.11a/b/g/n wireless, Bluetooth 2.0, 1.3MP webcam, fingerprint reader, and Windows Vista operating system. The Asus F8P will be available later this month for approx. $1,945.

TG Sambo has upgraded its premium laptop product lineup with the release of its two new laptops featuring Windows Vista Ultimate Edition. The Everatec 8300 and Everatec 2500 are targetted to gamers. The Everatec 8300 comes loaded with 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T 7500, 2048MB memory, 160GB HDD, and DVD super multi drive. Meanwhile, the Everatec 2500 features 2.2GHz AMD Turion 64, 2048MB memory, 160GB HDD, and DVD super multi. No word on pricing of these laptops so far.

Sony has introduced the new Graphic Splash Eco Edition of the 15.4-inch VAIO FZ notebooks which are available in “Caribbean Water, Clay Earth, Spotted Life and Bloom.” For your info, Sony will donate one percent of the price of each Graphic Splash Eco Edition notebook purchased to non-profit organizations working to preserve the environment via 1% For the Planet. These “Santa Rosa” based laptops retail for approx. $1,400 and will be available soon in limited quantities at Sony.

Toshiba has upgraded its Qosmio G40 notebook with a new processor and graphics card, renaming it to the Toshiba Qosmio G40W. The laptop now features a 2.2Ghz Core 2 Duo T7500 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a GeForce 8600M GT graphic card. Other features include the optical HD-DVD drive, a 17-inch LCD screen with 1900×1200 resolution, and 2 digital TV Tuners. The Qosmio G40W retails for $2,800.

Priced at $1,020, this desktop replacement also features a Nissan logo above the keyboard and comes with a slipcase made out of the same material Nissan uses in the March’s seats. The notebook PC is powered by a 1.8GHz Sempron 3400+ processor, 512MB RAM, a DVD-ROM drive, a 15.4 inch widescreen and Windows Vista Home Basic operating system.

According to rumors, Apple will launch a new version of MacBook laptops in the first half of November after the release of the Mac OS X 10.5 “Leopard†operating system later this month. However, there is no confirmation from the firm so far.
