There are two models of the Asus X71SL in the USA. The X71SL-B2 with the Core 2 Duo P8400 2.26GHZ CPU and Windows Vista Business OS and the X71SL-A1 with the T5800 at 2GHz and Vista Home Premium. These 17-inch entertainment laptops are also powered by NVIDIA GeForce 9300M G 256MB graphics, and SiS M671DX chipset. Both laptops also adopts 4GB of DDR2 memory, a 320GB hard drive, a DVD burner, and 1440 x 900 pixels resolution display. Toshiba Qosmio WXW Released in Japan

Toshiba will release its high-end notebook PC for the Japanese market. The Toshiba QWXW comes with a powerful nVidia GeForce 9800M GTS with 1GB of VRAM, a 128GB SSD and 160GB of HDD, a 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo T9550 and a DVD Super multi drive. Latest Business Laptop From Asus

Here are two new business laptops from Asus. The 16 inch Asus F50GX is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo or Celeron, meanwhile the 15.6 inch F50Z features AMD Athlon 64 or Turion 64 Mobile processor. Both laptops have NVIDIA GeForce 9400MG chipset with up to 4GB of RAM, 500GB HDD and a choice of DVD SuperMulti burner or blu-ray optical drive. Epson Releases Core 2 Duo and SSD Drive Notebook

Epson Japan has announced its latest Business to Business (B2B) laptop which is dubbed as the Endeavor NA802. The 13.3 inch WXGA notebook comes jam packed with a Core 2 Duo P8400 processor, an nVidia GeForce 9600M GT with 256MB of VRAM, 1GB to 4GB of RAM, and a wide range of 5400 or 7200rpm HDDs or a 128GB (MLC) SSD drive. Here is another competitor for Apple MacBook Air. Italy’s Olidata has unveiled the Conte 13.3-inch ultra-thin laptops at CES 2009. There are two different versions, the a 16:10 (1280×800 display) and the 16:9 (1366×768 display). Both models come equipped with a Core 2 Duo processor, optional built-in 3G or WiMAX, and a promised battery life of more than four hours (or seven with an extended battery). The 16:10 model also features Intel Turbo Memory, a fingerprint reader, a backlit keyboard, and 3GB of RAM as standard. ASUS W90 High-End Entertainment Notebook Unveiled

Asus has decided to introduce their latest high-end gaming notebook at CES 2009. Known as the ASUS W90, the laptop provides a 18.4- or 17-inch display, depending on model with the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4870 X2 or HD 3850 X2 dual graphics, or a single NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GS GPU, and the Intel Core 2 Duo processor. The W90 also uses Intel X38 chipset and has three SO-DIMM slots for up to 6GB of DDR2 memory. Other kewl features include up to 1 terabyte of hard drive storage space using two HDDs, a DVD burner or Blu-ray optical drive, six built-in Altec Lansing surround sound speakers, an optional TV tuner, the AI Touch Media, a 2MP webcam, 802.11 Draft N wireless, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, and a 56k modem. Its Turbo Gear function allows users to overclock the machine by “up to 25%”. There are also HDMI and VGA outputs, four USBs, an ExpressCard slot, Firewire, and an 8-in-1 media card reader.
