Novac today announced the availability of the Novac Simply Scan (NV-PS920U) for the Japanese market. This ultra-portable scanner measures 71mm x 20m x 124mm and weights 98 grams. Designed for scanning business cards, the Simply Scan comes equipped with a dedicated OCR software that will help you to save all your contact details on Outlook or CSV files. Novac will launch its newest HDD rack, the NV-HS402U3S. The high-speed HDD rack features four 3.5-inch hard drive slots with multiple fans to keep everything cool. The Novac NV-HS402U3S also has a USB 3.0 port and eSATA compatibility. Novac will release the NV-HS402U3S on December 17th, 2010 in Japan for 17,800 Yen ($215). [Akihabara]
If you want to connect a DVI capable monitor or TV into your old computer, then you will need the NV-CV200UD USB to DVI display converter. The device supports up to 1920 x 1080 resolution. Novac Japan has rolled out their latest Full HD media player for the Japanese market, the Media Gate NV-MG130. This compact device supports Full HD 1080p video playback in a wide variety of video formats, including MPEG1/2/4, DivX, XviD, H.264, VC-1, RM/RMVB, ASF, AVI, DAT, FLV, IFO, ISO, MKV, MOV, MPG, MP4, TS/M2TS/TP/TRP, VOB and WMV. The device connects to your HDTV via an HDMI port. The Media Gate NV-MG130 will become available in Japan starting on December 11th for 18,900 Yen (about $210). [Novac]
