Olympus will be releasing the new E-420 digital camera in Korea. The E-420 comes with live view so you can hold the camera away from their faces and interact with subjects, a 2.7-inch LCD, fast on-screen auto focus, face detection and shadow adjustment technology. The extreme portable Olympus E-420 is an update version of the E-410 dSLR camera. Weighing only 380 grams, the 10-megapixel E-420 is 20 to 40 percent lighter. The camera also comes bundled with Live View software, which enables users to hold the camera away from their faces and interact with their subjects. Other specs include 2.7-inch LCD, Shadow Adjustment Technology and improved white-balance algorithms. Priced between $500 and $700, Olympus E-420 will be released in May. Olympus will drop a new digicam called the E-430 and the specs have now surfaced the net. The E-430 will come with 12-megapixels, a live-view, flip-out 2.5-inch LCD, a wired remote option, and a higher continuous shooting frame rate as well as larger raw buffer. No other specs or availability has been unveiled yet.

Olympus has announced the arrival of the newest waterproof stylus cameras, the stylus 1030 SW. It features 10.1-megapixel, 3.6X optical 28-102mm f/3.5-5.0 zoom lens and 2.7-inch HyperCrystal II LCD screen. It includes multiple underwater scene modes as well as scene modes for use in snow and beach conditions. It can withstand a drop from 6.6 feet and withstand up to 220 pounds of pressure. Olympus Stylus 1030 SW will be available in March for about $400.

Olympus Korea has decided to release its new E-3 10MP DSLR camera and DSLR lenses in the Korean market. The camera will be available in Japan in November for $1,750. It features a 10.1M Live MOS sensor along with Olympus’ TruePic III digital processing engine. The E-3 Digital SLR also offers 5 frames-per-second continuous shooting, 1/8000 second top shutter speed, and a dual-axis swivel 2.5-inch Live View LCD covering all the viewing angles from low to high and side to side. Here is a new compact digital camera made by Olympus, dubbed the FE-220D. It is a 7.1MP shooter with 3x optical zoom, macro mode, 6.5MB memory, and a 2.5 inch LCD screen. The digicam measures 2mm x 22mm x 55mm and weights 122grams.
