
Onkyo is back with its new all-in-one PC for the Japanese market called the E705A7B. The machine is equipped with a 21.5-inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD LCD display, an Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 CPU, a NVIDIA ION GeForce 9400 graphics card, a 4GB RAM, a 1TB hard drive, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a DVD SuperMulti Dual Layer burner, a built-in TV tuner, WiFi and Windows 7 Home Premium OS. Onkyo has unveiled its latest ION-based nettop PC for the Japanese market called the P305A3. This space-saving computer adopts a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N230 processor, a NVIDIA ION chipset, an integrated GeForce 9400M graphics card, a 2GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a DVD burner (slot-in type), a 5-in-1 card reader, WiFi and Windows 7 Home Premium OS. In terms of connectivity ports, it offers four USB, eSATA and HDMI. The Onkyo P305A3 will go on sale in Japan starting on March 11th, 2010 for 69,800 Yen (about $771). More

Onkyo Japan will release their first Windows 7 ready amplifiers on September 11, 2009 in Japan. Dubbed as the TX-NA5007 and TX-NA1007, both amplifiers are DLNA complaint and support Dolby NR Professional Logic IIz, Dolby NR TrueHD, DTS-HD Mater and playback of WAV (linear PCM)/WMA (DRM)/WMA Lossless/MP3/AAC/FLAC/Ogg Vorbis formats. Famous home theater manufacturer Onkyo today introduced their latest high-end home theater receivers in the form of the TX-NR807 and TX-SR707. The TX-NR807 is able to stream audio from Internet-based services such as Pandora, Rhapsody, Sirius and Internet radio from vTuner’s database. The receiver can also play music on networked PCs and hard drives thanks to the DLNA 1.5 support. The TX-NR807 is compatible with MP3, WMA, FLAC, OGG Vorbis and AAC file playback from PCs. Other features include six HDMI inputs, upconverts DVDs to 1080p, and can deliver 135W per channel. Meanwhile, the TX-SR707 lacks of the networking compatibility, and is less powerful, at 100W per channel. Both receivers are 7.2-channel systems. Here is good news for those who are living in the States because Onkyo has finally launched its latest Blu-ray player in the US market. Known as the DV-BD507, the player supports Deep Color and x.v. color specifications of HDMI 1.3a and can play AVCHD video files stored on SD/SDHC card or DVD-R/RW dics. The DV-BD507 also features BD-Live Profile 2.0 for online interactive content. The Onkyo DV-BD507 is currently available at a suggested retail price of $449. [Akihabara]

Here is the latest desktop PC from Onkyo that is claimed to support Windows 7 OS. The Sotec S504 is powered by either the Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad CPU with a 21.5-inch Full HD LCD display, a 1TB HDD, and a 4GB of RAM. Here is the first WiMax ready netbook in Japan from Onkyo. Dubbed as the C204A5, the 10-inch netbook is powered by an Intel Atom N270 CPU, an Intel 945GSE Express, a 1GB of RAM, and a 32GB of SSD. The Sotec LA21TW-01S is Onkyo’s latest 21.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) LCD monitor. The HD LCD screen provides a HDMI and DVI-D port, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a brightness level of 300cd/m2, and an integrated 1.6Watts x 2ch speaker. Onkyo today announced the TX-SA607 and TX-SA507 AV amplifiers for the Japanese market. The TX-SA607 is a 120watts x 7 channels AV amplifier that is compatible with Dolby NRs True HD, DTS-HD, and Dolby NR professional logic IIz. Meanwhile, the TX-SA507 is a simple 100watts x 5 channels AV amplifier with only 4 1.3a HDMI input port, and does not support Dolby NR professional logic IIz. No info on pricing at this time. Onkyo today launched its brand new high-end speaker set for PC that adopts Onkyo’s VL Digital Technology to produce high-quality sound. Dubbed as the Onkyo GX-500HD, this speaker set provides 2 x 40 Watts and works on a 50Hz to 100kHz. The Onkyo GX-500HD will be released in Japan next week for 49800 Yen or around €380. [Akihabara]
