Amazon has started selling the Optoma PK-100 DLP pico projector. This pocket projector enables users to share images and videos from their media devices at sizes up to 60-inch. Weighing at only 0.3 lbs (0.14 Kg), the Optoma PK-100 provides a 11 ANSI Lumens, a 480 x 320 native resolution, a 3:2 native aspect ratio and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Optoma has started shipping their new Game Time projectors that includes three models, the GT360, GT700, and GT720. Each model is unique in there own way. The GT360 has a 2500 ANSI lumens, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and SVGA (800 x 600) resolution. The GT700 comes with 2300 ANSI lumens, a 2500:1 contrast ratio, and WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution. Korean projector Optoma today released its first 3D projector, the Optoma EX762, that adopts a Texas Instruments DDP2431 10bit Video processing chip and a DC3 DMD chip. This 3D projector provides a 1024 x 768 resolution, a 3D video playback, a 4000 ANSI brightness and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. The Optoma EX762 is now available in South Korea for around $1700. The HD66 is the first 3D ready home theater projector from Optoma that is targeted towards gamers and movie enthusiasts. Powered by Texas Instruments’ 0.65 DMD DLP chipset with BrilliantColor technology, the HD66 can project 3D content in three different resolutions: 720p HD (1280 x 720), XGA (1024 x 768) or SVGA (800 x 600), and provides 2500 ANSI lumens brightness and 4,000:1 contrast ratio.
