Panasonic comes back with two internet-enabled Blu-ray players that allows users to maximize their enjoyment out of BD Live-enabled discs. The Panasonic DMP-BD80 and DMP-BD60 also allows users to view YouTube videos and Picasa images on their HDTVs. The DMP-BD80 focuses more on sound quality, meanwhile the DMP-BD60 offer basic functions. Both Blu-ray players feature High-definition Audio Decoder (Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio Essential), PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus technology, 1080p Up-Conversion, SD memory card slot, and USB port. Panasonic W8 Premium Edition With Intel X-25M SSD

Panasonic today announced its W8 Premium Edition laptop that adopts a 80GB Intel X-25M SSD with a 250MB/sec in reading speed and 70MB/sec in writing speed. Auto-eco Light-control Twin Pa

Panasonic will soon introduce its newest technology in home-use lighting equipment whose brightness is automatically adjusted by a sensor. Known as the ‘Auto-eco Light-control Twin Pa’ this home-use fluorescent lamp will automatically adjusts its light levels in accordance with the luminance in a room. It features a luminance sensor that is able to detects the brightness in an area of 3m diameter directly below the lamp, controlling the light output. The product comes in two models and will be available later this year, the “HHFZ4320″ (89W) and the “HHFZ4220″ (74W) that will retail for approximately $389 and $357, respectively. [Ubergizmo]

Panasonic Upgrades Its Let's Note Laptop Series

Available in silver, black, blue, and red, this compact camera can record HD video (1280 x 720) at 60 frames/second in AVCHD Lite format. The video can then be displayed on an HDTV via HDMI. Other specs include a large 3-inch LCD with 460,000 pixels, a 12.7MP CCD, Intelligent Auto Mode with “face recognition” features that can remember faces that frequently appear. Panasonic today introduced three new Digital TV Recorder in the form of the DMR-BW95(ITB), DMR-BW850(500GB) and DMR-BW750(320GB). These DVRs feature Dual Digital TV Tuner, and Blu-Ray burner. The gadgets also support DLNA that allows you to access recorder TV programs from your PC or Sony PlayStation3, and WanSeg TV Tuner that allows you to directly record YouTube compatible videos. The high-end DMR-BW95(ITB) will be released in Japan for 250 000 Yen or approx. €1980. [Akihabara]
