Pantech has recently unveiled its new handset, the Love Canvas or also known as Pantech IM-R300. This touch screen cell phone will be available exclusively from SK Telecom. The handset comes equipped with 2.6 inch WQVGA LCD touchscreen (400 x 240 resolution), an integrated GPS navigation, a DMB TV tuner, a 2MP camera, music player, eWallet functionality, 260MB internal memory and microSD memory card slot. Pantech comes back with five new designs, each with a specific emotional presence. Look what’s dropped in to local AU KDDI shops in Japan! The Pantech W61PT phone which is obviously more of a girlie phone. It comes in your choice of pink, white or black glossy finishes and has all the standard features such as: a 2.4 inches screen, 2 megapixels Digital Camera, MicroSD port. Price and additional features are unknown at this time. Keep in mind gentleman, that the hot girl isn’t included with the phone.
Designed by fuseproject, the Pantech SKY IM-U200 is also known as the Shooting Star. The handset has won Best New Phone Honour at CES 2008. The phone features 1.3MP camera and 2.0-inch QVGA Color TFT LCD (240×320). It is priced at $543.
The Boy Genius Report provides us with a “leaked” news about AT&T’s Black Friday sale. AT&T will be offering 50% off prices on a selection of their popular phones. Here are the phones that will be included with this special sale. Sadly, the Apple iPhone is not included.

Pantech has released its first HSDPA cell phone in the Korean market. Dubbed as the SKY IM-U210/U210K, the handset offers 3G users with a super fast 7.2Mbps download speeds. The chrome plated phone also provides T-DMB so you can watch digital TV the phone. Other features include global roaming thanks to WCDMA, electronic dictionary, 2MP shooter, text viewer and multitasking functionality. The Sky IM-U210 HSDPA will be available in Korea for approx. $530.
Pantech has recently announced that the Cocoon will be available soon through the English operator O2. FYI, the Cocoon is an HSDPA Phone with an original external screen. It’s a pretty hot looking phone, but it won’t be available in the States. Hit the jump to read the list of specifications.
