Patriot Memory is back with its new line of SSDs, the PS-100. Available in capacities ranging from 32GB to 256GB, these 2.5-inch drives feature a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, a 64MB of cache memory, a MTBF of 2.5 million hours and provide read and write speeds of up to 210MB/s and 150MB/s, respectively. Not to mention, these drives also boast power consumption of 5.3W when operating, and 0.5W when in standby mode. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and availability yet. [CDRLabs]
Patriot Memory has unveiled a new series of 2.5-inch Solid State Drives (SSD) for Mac users. Named Koi, these drives come in 128GB and 256GB sizes and feature a 64MB of cache memory, a SATA 3.0 Gbps connection interface, a MTBF of over 2.5 million hours, 260MB/s read speeds and 180MB/s write speeds. Available in 128GB and 256GB storage capacities, these 2.5-inch drives boast a reading speed up to 220MB/s and a writing speed up to 200MB/s. The M28 drives also feature a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, a 128MB of cache memory and a MTBF of over 1 million hours. The Torqx M28 SSDs will start shipping soon with a 10-year warranty. [TCMagazine]
