The Patriot Memory Torqx 2 solid state series series provides improved performances over their predecessors as well as larger storage capacities. The storage device can now reach sequential write speeds of up to 230MB/s while the sustained read performance is rated at 270MB/s. As a comparison, the first generation Torqx SSD series has a similar read performance (260MB/s), but their write speeds were limited at 115MB/s, which is exactly half the write throughput of the Torqx 2.
