
Here is the latest competitor to Shuttle’s small form factor desktop casing from Aopen. Announced today this compact desktop case goes by the name XC Encore OE700. The case supports Penrym Core 2 Duo CPU and is based on the GM45 Express chipset with ICH9M and HDMI out. The XC Encore OE700 will be launched in Japan in May 2009. [Aopen]

BMW DesignworksUSA has showed off their latest thermaltake PC case at 2009 CEBIT exhibition. Dubbed as the Level 10, this futuristic-looking PC case is targeted especially at gamers. Abee Japan today released an interesting new PC case called the Smart SC120D. Available in Silver or Black, the PC case is constructed of aluminum with a unique design for storing the keyboard beneath its front panel. The Smart SC120D also sports both Micro ATX and Mini ITX motherboards and can hold a couple of 3.5 inch HDD and one additional 2.5 inch HDD. Here is Antec’s latest PC case that is touted as the “world’s first open air case.” Known as the Antec Open Air Skeleton PC Case, it comes with a unique design that allows the air to flow to decrease the system’s temperature. The PC case provides four drive bays, a layered tray design, seven expansion slots and some ports. There are also a big 250mm fan with a 92mm fan in the front.
