The Toshiba PA35 External HD-DVD Drive is the inexpensive way to do HD-DVD on your computer. It gives you HD video and sound, and also allows you to burn the standard DVD. Unfortunately, the Toshiba PA35 only allows you to read HD-DVD discs with no burning capability for them. But for ~$370, there’s not too much to complain about.

The SNT IOPS In-Dash PC for your car has GPS, runs Windows XP, features a 7-inch touchscreen interface, has HSDPA internet access, Bluetooth, and streams live video from your rear bumper to help those parallel-parking novices. The product is from Korea, and will be unveiled in a couple of days CeBit in Germany. No word on pricing yet.

I can say this PC mod is one of the coolest PC mods. Dubbed as the Decomatic Model 12b, it contains an Intel Core 2 Duo machine with 2GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, an Nvidia 7600 series video card with HDMI, and a total of 31 ports.

PC manufacturer Alienware has upgraded its Area-51 7500 desktop by featuring the new Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU. The PC will support Windows Vista, Low latency DDR2 RAM, nForce 6 SLI x16 Motherboard, and HDCP ready graphics. The Quad core Alienware 7500 is aimed for gamers and multimedia enthusiasts. It goes on sale in March 7th with the price tag of $2499 after conversion.

Sony’s new VAIO L series is a concept all-in-one PC that comes with a crystal clear 15.4 inch LCD display and stylish polycarbonate chassis. The PC also features a Sound Reality audio chip, a pair of 3W speakers, a foldable keyboard and touchpad, Intel’s Core 2 Duo T5600 1.83GHz processor, a 120GB hard drive, and 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM. Onkyo unveiled two new entries to its Wavio line, including a wireless desktop with a mouse, and a wired USB keyboard. Both are made of solid aluminum. Available in silver or black, these two keyboards are designed for its HD audio PC, the Onkyo HDC-1.0. No word on pricing and availability yet.
