Groqit is a simple product that reads, stores, and organizes barcodes. It is excellent for keeping tabs on any barcode-based inventory, be it books, DVDs, and so on. It comes in a pen-like shape, with small scanner at its point. Once a barcode is scanned, it’s kept within the device’s 128MB built-in storage, which is seemingly small, but actually stores up to a million items. You can also assign categories for efficient management. You can use it with PC or Mac, and connect it to Groqit Website, where you can store and sync each barcode to a proper item name and category. Vavolo has released this pocket digital video recorder hidden inside a functional pen. The pen has a 1/3 inch CMOS camera that captures AVI video in 360 x 280 resolution and stores it on the built-in 2Gb flash memory. While it can record for more than six hours, the built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery limits recording to three hours per session, which is still likely to be more than adequate in most circumstances. The KG-DP1 pen is the solution to typing an extensive document by moving the KG-DP1 over the text you want transferred into a Word document by using the provided software. You would think that combining a mouse and pen wasn’t possible, but it apparently is. This super cool wireless mouse pen that turns into a mouse when you detach the receiver and hook it up to a USB port. Now you can fool and amaze guests as well as save more room than you would with an ordinary mouse. No word on pricing or availability for this awesome device.
