HP Lineup Receives Penryn

HP fans will be pleased to know that some of their business lineup will be receiving Penryn processors. The 2.1GHz T8100 on both the 6720s and 6820s and the 2.4GHz T8300 will be on both the 6510b and 6710b. No word on when these will be available, so we’ll keep you posted. [CNET via Laptop Blog]

Mouse Computer has released three new colored 12.1, Penryn M-Books in Japan. They come with a Core 2 Duo T8100 CPU, with 2GB of RAM, 80GB of SATA HDD, Wifi ABGN, X3100 Video Chipset, DVD DL Multi, HDMI output, and a 1.3Mpix web camera. Mouse Computer Drops the LuvBook PL300X

Looks like there’s another Penryn-powered laptop being released in Japan by Mouse Computer. This laptop goes by the name of LuvBook PL300X. The PL300X features a Core 2 Duo CPU, a T8100, 1GB of ram and 80GB of SATA HDD and lastly a Multi DVD recorder. Unfortunately, the LuvBook isn’t going for cheap because Mouse Computer wants a retail price of $1,298.
