Memorex Digiframes

Mother’s Day is just around the corner so Memorex will be releasing 2 digiframes with the woman’s touch. They feature “feminine graphics,” 7-inch 480 x 234 resolution panels and USB connectivity. The other has that along with four interchangeable inserts and a SD / MMC expansion slot, while the second one has a 4-in-1 reader and floral patterns. Kodak M820 M1020 P720 EasyShare Photoframes

Kodak has announced that they will be releasing an EasyShare line-up of digital photoframes with “Quick Touch” borders so you can scroll through photos by sliding your finger along the border and control all the other frame functions. Both the M820 and M1020 feature 8 and 10-inch screens, audio and video support, 128MB of built-in memory, and support for most used memory card formats. While the 7-inch P720 comes with the Quick Touch border but only has the basic photo frame specs. All three will ship on April 16th for $120, $180, and $230. [Engadget via Digital Camera Blog]

Sony Drops 3 new Digiframes in S-Lineup

3 new Digital Frames by Sony

Even though digital photoframes are the least popular, Sony has managed to launch 3 new models in the S series. They feature a WVGA screen resolution of 800×480, from 256MB up to 512MB of internal memory, a 15:9 aspect ratio, ten pattern slide show, USB and HDMI terminals ,support for JPEG, RAW, TIFF and BMP, support for BIONZ technology, a position censor , a clock display, and a multi card reader. The DPF-V900 has a 9” LCD and HDMI, the DFP-V700 has a 7” LCD and HDMI, and the DFP-D70 has a 7” LCD without HDMI. No word on how much or when these are coming out exactly, but what’s the hurry if they’re not very popular. [Akihabara via Digital Camera Blog] More
