Pioneer has introduced the DJM-250 2-channel DJ mixer that comes equipped with 8 input paths (4 DJ multi-player and analogue turntable paths, 3 AUX, and 1 MIC input) and balanced XLR outputs. Available in black/grey or white/grey, the Pioneer DJM-250 features a 48 kHz/24-bit full digital processing, a 3-band isolator type equalizer (+9dB to -8), a Fader Start Play function, and a Cross Fader Curve Adjust function. Pioneer will launch the Pioneer BDP-140 in the Japanese market. This affordable 3D Blu-ray player supports DLNA 1.5, SACD, and both Blu-Ray and 3D Blu-Ray discs. The Pioneer BDP-140 can also read MP3, WMA, WMV, MKV and DivX Plus HD files, which are stored on your USB flash drive. The new Pioneer Elite BDP-53FD Blu-ray player allows you to access audio and video content from a variety of online sources such as Pandora, YouTube, and Netflix. The player also supports audio and video playback from USB and DLNA sources, as well as up-converts SD content to 1080p HD with reduced image noise. Pioneer has recently unveiled the STEEZ headphones that provide suitable sound quality for dance music. Available in black and white models, these headphones adopt a couple of large 40mm diameter speaker units and lightweight voice coils. These headphones are compatible with different monitoring styles thanks to a Housing Reversal Mechanism and Swivel Mechanism. The STEEZ can also be folded small for storage. Pioneer Japan today introduced the X-SMC2 and X-SMC5 compact network Hi-Fi with iPhone and iPod support. Both models comes with DLNA support via WiFi or Ethernet, allowing you to access internet radio via vTuner or any audio file stored on your network. The Pioneer X-SMC2 and X-SMC5 also provide a DVD player with a video out, iPhone/iPod dock, and DivX playback support. Pioneer has announced the availability of its new flagship SC-57 and SC-55 Elite home theater receivers. Both units provide full support for AirPlay over Ethernet or via the optional AS-WL300 wireless LAN converter. The Pioneer SC-57 and SC-55 are also compatible with Pioneer’s Air Jam and iControl AV2 apps. Other features include 140 watts x 9 channels of Class D3 amplification, THX certification, Marvell Qdeo video processing, and direct USB connection support for media playback from the iPod, iPhone, and iPad. Pioneer has entered the PC speaker market by releasing the 2.0-channel S-MM301 and the 2.1-channel S-MM751RU. The 2.0-channel S-MM301 USB speaker features triple coil drivers, which are supposed to deliver dynamic sound with exceptional clarity at a volume not offered by ordinary USB-powered speakers. The 2.1-channel S-MM751RU speaker adopts the MAXX Bass Dynamic Sound with DSP Bass Enhancement, which will increase dynamic range and will deliver a richer audio experience. The gadget comes equipped with several sensors and connects to the internet to provide the most accurate navigation info for the driver. Pioneer will release the DVR-XD10J external DVD writer in the Japanese market next month. Measuring 133mm x 14.8mm x 133mm and weighing 240 grams, the DVD burner features the company’s PURE READ+ technology, allowing the drive to read and recover a damaged sector on a DVD disc in an attempt to deliver the best quality.
