Planex Communications Inc. today introduced a new Bluetooth audio transmitter, the BT-WTM01. The device features a 3.5mm audio connector and a battery rated for 11 hours of music playback. This Bluetooth audio transmitter also supports the A2DP BT protocol for high-quality music. You can recharge its battery via a microUSB port. Planex will release the PL-35STU3 HDD case that comes with a USB 3.0 connectivity in order to support transfer rates up to 5Gbps. The case is compatible with almost all standard sized 3.5-inch hard drives (up to 2TB in capacity). The company will also launch a new firmware upgrade that will make this HDD enclosure supports up to 3TB of storage space. Additionally, the Planex PL-35STU3 comes equipped with the front panel LED indicator, which informs you the remaining free space on the installed drive. Planex Communications has rolled out the GW-USEco300, a USB 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi dongle with a theoretical speed of up to 300Mbps.
