Changhong has started selling its new PDP TV in France. The Changhong P50F738 is a 50-inch PDP (Plasma) HDTV that offers a 1366 x 768 resolution, a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, two HDMI ports, a couple of USB ports and basic USB Recording features with Time Shift. Samsung has recently introduced its 2011 range of Smart TVs in India including the Samsung D5500, D6000, D7000, D8000 LED TV series and the Samsung D8000 Plasma series. All of these Smart TVs come equipped with Smart Hub, allowing users to watch videos online, browse the internet, search content on the web or on a DLNA connected device and social networking. Available in sizes between 40- to 60-inch, the Samsung LED TV range are starting from Rs. 68,900 ($1,559) to Rs. 400,000 ($9,053). Hitachi is ready to launch a new series of PDP (Plasma) TV and LCD TV in the Japanese market. Known as the Hitachi Wooo XP07 series, both PDP (Plasma) TV and LCD TV come equipped with a built-in 320GB HDD and a trio of digital TV tuners, allowing you to record two channel simultaneously. The Hitachi Wooo XP07 Plasma TV will be available in 42-inch, 46-inch and 50-inch models, while the Hitachi Wooo XP07 LCD TV will be available in 32-inch (HD-ready), 37-inch (Full HD) and 42-inch (Full HD) models. Panasonic has rolled out a new HD LCD Plasma TV, which is known as the Panasonic Viera TX-L32D28BP. As part of the D28 series, the HD LCD Plasma features a 32-inch edge-lit LED TV with a wide 178° viewing angle to ensure clear images even when viewed from an angle. Additional features include Panasonic’s Viera Cast internet platform, Ethernet and Wi-Fi. The Panasonic’s Viera Cast technology allows you to enjoy online content such as videos, photos, weather and stock information through an easy-to-use Web interface. Panasonic today rolled out the Panasonic VIERA GT25 Full HD 3D Plasma TV that features 42-inch class (41.6-inch measured diagonally) and 50-inch class (49.9-inch measured diagonally) screen sizes. The GT25 Series also includes 2D to 3D conversion which can convert a 2D image or video to 3D. The Active Shutter 3D Eyewear (sold separately) is required for viewing 3D content. The 42-inch model (TC-P42G25) retails for $1699.95, while the 50-inch model (TC-P50GT25) is priced at $2099.95. Both models will be available in late August 2010. [Press Release]
Samsung today announced a couple of new 3D Fabrizio PAVV PDP TV series, which consists of the 680 – 50-inch (PN50C680G5F) and the 490 – 50-inch (PN50C490B3D). Both PDP TVs provide a vivid resolution on the screen and support DLNA, USB, DviX, Xvid, USB video, photo playback as well as Samsung’s latest energy saving eco-friendly features.
