
Panasonic has rolled out two in-dash mountable devices for your car in the form of the CN-HX3000D and the CY-BB1000D. The first device is a Windows-powered GPS that sports a 7-inch LCD screen with 1280 x 720 resolution. It comes equipped with a CD / DVD player, a One-Seg tuner, a 40GB hard drive, a 5 channel amplifier, Bluetooth and an iPhone / iPod compatibility. Meanwhile, the CY-BB1000D is an optional Blu-Ray player which can support everything except Blu-Live. Both devices are expected to hit stores by fall 2009 for unannounced price yet. [NewLaunches]

Philips will be dropping a new digital audio/video player called the GoGear SA5225. It supports WMV, MPEG4 video files, WMA and AAC audio files, a picture viewer, FM radio receiver, and can stream audio and transfer files using bluetooth wireless technology. The GoGear also has an Options button, volume controls, a 5-way control point that lets you play/pause, skip forward/back and scroll up/down, and a USB connector. The SA5225 can be charged by USB and takes about 4 hours to charge. No word on pricing or availability, but you can imagine that it might not be that cheap. [MobileWhack]

iRiver will be releasing the E100 portable media player in Europe next week. The E100 features a 2.4″ 262k color display at 320 x 240 resolution, a microSD memory card slot, FM radio with recording, video playback, line-in connectivity,a pair of 1W speakers,support for MP3, WMA, OGG, ASF and FLAC audio formats,support for MPEG-4, WMV9 and XviD video formats and will be available in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB capacities. Looks like both Philips and Lite-On have collaborated on a new Blu-ray player called DX-4O1S. It reads at 4x, and will be the first by Philips and Lite-On Digital Solutions. The player will be out next quarter. [DailyTech]

Goldmund is famous for overpriced electronics, they unveiled the Eidos 20 BD Blu-ray player. It looks like the Eidos 20 BD includes an AC-Curator power supply circuit, and a Magnetic Damper for lowering read errors. All I can say is you better have $16,000-$17,000 or a sugar daddy. [CNetCrave]

Sigmatek has joined the Blu-ray bandwagon with their new Blu-ray player called the SBR-1000. It’s going for about €250 ($364) and will be the cheapest in Europe. The SBR-1000 supports Profile 1.1 / bonus view features along with 1080p/24, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD and HDMI 1.3 support. Look for this cheap European Blu-ray player this April.

Harman Kardon will be releasing its DVC 600 Blu-ray player this September at IFA ‘08 in Berlin at a retail price range between $885 and $994. The DVC 600 also plays DVD’s and CD’s and can upscale video to 720p. Additional features include: DVI, USB, analogue audio and video sockets.

iRiver has dropped another PMP (portable media player) called the X20. The iRiver X20 comes with 8GB of flash memory and a 22 hour battery life, a microSD memory card slot for further storage capacity just in case 8GB doesn’t do it for you. The iRiver X20 is going for about $130.

Korean company Bluedot has dropped their awesome new portable dvd player on shelves in Japan. The BDP-1725 features LED backlight, supports DVD±R/RW, CD-R/RW and has 5 hours of play time. Look for this sometime next January for $203.
