FCC has approved the Mitac E100 Rugged Tablet PC with GPS. The navigation gadget will be available in the States very soon. It has an 8.4 inch touchscreen, and is powered by Intel processor at 800MHz with 1GB of RAM. The UMPC also offers 802.11 b/g wireless, Bluetooth, and an optional 3G WAN network antenna. No info on pricing or availability yet.
Here is a first official picture of the highly anticipated ASUS P750 Pocket PC Phone. Asus confirmed that the P750 will be released in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Malaysia before the end of this year. Mio Technology Ltd., is a Taiwanese electronics maker that manufactures and markets Pocket PCs, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), smartphones and Personal Navigation Devices (PNDs).
The new Toshiba Portege G500 mobile phone will be available next month for around $600. It provides a unique and enhanced level of security, including fingerprint authentication to access the phone. The finger print sensor can also be used to navigate the phone’s menu and lock these devices. For security conscious mobile phone users who demand email and web connectivity in their mobile phone, the phone sports full wireless push email and Internet browsing that is able to take advantage of HSDPA and WiFi connections. What’s more, the handset also offers a 2.3” QVGA screen and excellent battery life. Sadly, this pocket PC phone is running the old Windows Mobile 5.0 for smartphone, though the company promised to provide an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.0.
Inventec showed off its new Pocket PC phone during Computex 2007. Dubbed as the K871, the handset runs on the Windows Mobile 6.0 operating system. The HSDPA-enabled handset also comes with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity and a 3MP camera with auto focus. No word on pricing and availability yet.
Samsung SGH-i718 boasts a 2.0MP camera, 2.8-inch touchscreen display, 55MB of built-in memory, EDGE, microSD card slot, and Bluetooth. The gadget is powered by a 416MHz Intel XScale ARM920T PXA27x processor. Watch a short video review after the jump!
MiTac introduced their latest cell phone model Mio A501 in their Digi-Walker line. Measuring 95.7mm x 59.6mm x 20.7mm, the mobile phone features an in-built 2.0MP camera, Bluetooth, 1GB storage space and 64 MB of RAM. This GPS enables PocketPC Phone can be yours this June onwards in about $675.
