
Panasonic today introduced the new DMP-HV50 portable TV, which is a variant of the Panasonic DMP-HV100 and DMP-BV200. This gadget features a 10-inch LCD display with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, a digital TV tuner and a 1seg digital TV tuner. Newsmy’s CTV8 is a combination between a portable digital TV viewer and a PMP. The combo gadget features a 4.3-inch LCD display, built-in stereo speakers, and an 8GB of storage capacity. The CTV8 also supports most of multimedia files such as AVI, FLV, WMV, MPG, MP4, ASF, MP3, and OGG. Additional features include a voice-recorder, an e-book reader, and a picture browser. June 20th, Japan’s Panasonic will release its waterproof 1Seg VIERA portable TV. You can get two versions called the SV-ME75 and SV-ME70 in three colors: black, pink, and white. They both feature a 5″ display in 480×272 and an SD card slot on the SV-ME75 so you can now record your favorite TV shows. [Akihabara]
