Apparent today introduced the Doxie Go portable cordless scanner. The device is able to scan paper, photos, and receipts without a computer. It has the ability to scan a full color page in only 8 seconds and send scanned documents or images to cloud services including Dropbox, Google Docs and Evernote. The Doxie Go also provides a microSD card slot, Doxie 2.0 companion software and a USB port. It has a built-in battery that can be recharged via your computer’s USB port. Fujitsu has collaborated with NTT Docomo to release the ARROWS Tab LTE F-01D water-resistant tablet PC in Japan. The Android 3.2-based tablet has been tested to be operable under high-humidity conditions based on the manufacturer’s testing standards. The gadget is powered by the ultra high-speed Xi communications network, which is the next-generation LTE service for download speeds of up to 37.5 Mbps. Measuring 181mm x 262mm x 11.3mm and weighing 597 grams (with battery), the Fujitsu Docomo ARROWS Tab LTE F-01D tablet features a 1GHz dual core TI OMAP4 processor, a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800) HD LCD display, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, a USB 2.0 port, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, a 5.1MP rear-facing camera and a high-capacity 7,000mAh battery. ESPlus Launches Seeser Laser Pico Projector

ESPlus today introduced the Seeser laser-based pico projector. In case you didn’t know, the laser-based projector is better than other types of projectors because it doesn’t require a focusing lens. The Seeser features a 25 ANSI lumens, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and SVGA (800 x 600) resolution. Other specs include an internal rechargeable battery and a microSD card slot. Sony today released a new portable Blu-ray/DVD player namely the BDP-SX1. The gadget features a 10.1-inch LED backlight display with up to 1,024×600 pixels resolution. The Sony BDP-SX1 is compatible with MPEG-1/2/4, MPEG-4 AVC/H.264, WMV, AVCHD. MP3/WMA/AAC/Linear PCM, and JPEG file formats. Additional features include a USB 2.0 port, a memory card slot, stereo speakers and an HDMI-output. Its battery offers up to 5-hour of video playback. Sony Singapore Releases HD-EG5 And HD-EG5U Portable HDDs

Sony Singapore today released its new external hard drives, the HD-EG5 and HD-EG5U. Both HDDs provide a 500GB of storage space and the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface. The Sony HD-EG5 and HD-EG5U portable HDDs come equipped with a pre-loaded Data Transfer Accelerator software that accelerates transfer speeds up to three times faster that its competitors. These hard drives also use the Password Protection Manager software, allowing you to protect your important data using advanced AES 256-bit encryption. The Sony HD-EG5U is a higher-end model that supports AV Link function, which makes playback of AVCHD video on a PlayStation 3 quick and easy. All you have to do is connect it to the Sony Handycam with a supplied USB adapter cable, copy the video, and then connect the drive to the Sony PlayStation 3 to view the video using the company’s Filmy software.
